Background
Agent McTavish has been a dedicated agent of his majesty secret service for a very, very long time. Recruited officially at the age of 18 and having been prepared for a life of espionage since the age of 10, he's had a long and varied history with the criminals and terrorists of Europe and America. In his first outing in the field he had to infiltrate and destroy an illegal weapons manufactures warehouse who was selling weapons to crime syndicates across the globe. Not only was he able to destroy the warehouse, but he was also able to capture the weapon supplier too. This led to mass arrests of criminals around the world and was just the first of many successful missions.
All James knows is this life, a apart of him wishes for a more simple life, a wife , maybe a couple kids. But he isn't confident in his ability to 'switch off'. Plus he knows he could never offer anyone a normal life. This has resulted in his love life being purely one night stands and messy love affairs. Perhaps one day he'll meet a special woman who he loves enough to put this life to one side for. But till that day, this life is all he has.
Among his assignments given to him by the British government he also routinely worked with the Yanks on various missions as well. This partnership started when he was about 20 and has only become stronger since then. Though they never fully appreciate his sarcastic wit. -
