  Description: A gentleman. Mirrored perfection showed little but a ragged array of dark chocolate kissed hair, furrowed about the left of his strong forehead. A face present to all occassions but eyes of deep blue closed off and near parellel to the opposite of whatever the situation asked for. Pressed cotton jacket; the wool near forever stained a deep navy blue; a blush of white burrow beneath the collar line. A fine attire Man of considerable wealth -- a shame none of that meant a thing upon the search for an equally considerable Woman. The death of a passed Loved One; Mr. Darcy, well... he was a bit unlike himself lately.
  
  After his loss of Elizabeth, Mr. Darcy left Pemberley a year following; set adrift and taking count of all he'd acquired while married to her. It did little to ease his suffering and within the following months found himself touching the shores of the Golden Tether. It was of mild comfort he'd found such a hole to confide in and lose all ends of consciousness through its diversions and vices. Never to be found in the arms of any passing woman, he was spotted in the quiet corners or the library, a look of loss and uncertainty marring an otherwise handsome face. His silent, grave, and indifferent approach to any conversation that was had was less than amusing and more droll than interesting.
  
  Upon several conversations with women whom seemed hopeful of a romantic encounter of a more insidious nature, it wasn't at all surprising to find that Mr. Darcy's stoic approach was less than agreeable and he soon found little to divert him from the encroaching darkness that was his own depression and the realization that he was, in fact, alone and without wife. That was, until, the conversation with a certain Courtesan took place leaving him grasping towards the fringes of the fog in an attempt to lift and eventually escape.
  
  With their short courtship a refreshing breath of life back into his otherwise stale lungs, he left the Tether without remark or word to the Lady or to a third-party that would otherwise inform her of his whereabouts. It was years before his return in which within that time-frame the matter of his actions, are lost. Refusal to speak about where he'd gone and for what reason is otherwise an ignored conversation save for his return was marked by subject for the woman he'd grew feelings for initially. She being the reason, Mr. Darcy now finds himself enraptured within her presence once more with no intent to leave.
  
  But, in true fashion of his tendencies, he is unlike himself lately in respect to where he now holds his feelings accountable. Commitment is scarce in these parts and Mr. Darcy is less than a stranger to it.
