  Monolithic. If that wasn't the first thing that came to mind...
  
  Where she stood, she loomed. Loomed above all others with posture that spoke of a militaristic background at an impressive height that was almost if not over seven feet tall. The positioning of imposing horns could lend the illusion of even more height coupled with the length of slender, thickly-tufted ears.
  
  Though overtly mystical in appearance, some traits were comparable to that of earthly, much more common beasts. A wolf, no telling of the breed but surely a larger one, lent the female most of her appearance. Dense fur that was layered for the harshest winters covered what was a feminine frame, if not a feminine frame cut from an equally thick slab. Facial features were distinctly canine as well, and were remarkable only because they were probably the only place that one would be capable to find softness about her.
  
  Mostly, it was the glow in her eyes. Coalesced starlight gleamed in her gaze, the energy ebbing from the corners of her eyes in a way that made in unclear if there was anything physically there. No pupil was visible, further marking the female as an unusual, alien thing that figuratively crawled from a scared place.
  
  Though one would be hard-pressed to see the female actually crawl like a helpless worm. The female's poise was undeniably that of an ancient warrior set for battle; rigid and sure. The silhouette was like that of a Valkyrie, generously thick with both feminine curves and toned muscle. Not lacking in either she was a paragon of her kind; both beautiful and strong. All of this was wrapped in a thick cloak of charcoal colored fur that was broken only by the growths of pure obsidian that formed scales on her body. The precious stone was set around her eyes, armored her shoulder blades and arms as well as the back of her thighs and calves... not to mention those most curious horns.
  
  Set into her scalp, they sprouted from a sea of dark hair and braids like glossy spires, though they had a most curious trait. Flexible but not brittle, she was able to shift their positions independently, though more often than not they were shaped in mirror to each other. Carved from the obsidian that she emerged from, they were adorned with subtle ribs along their length and honed to points at their tips.
  
  The female was not one for a silent exit as the obsidian too punctuated her movements in the form of thickly cast hooves that clicked with each step. A tail tufted with a lush plume of fur whipped in her wake, movements often betraying her otherwise pleasantly stoic facade.
