• Meanwhile, in London...

  Sometime in the 18th century, young Peaks encountered a particularly nasty shaman girl. Like children do, he pestered her endlessly. She tired of him quickly and cursed him, but her curse was that of agelessness. This was unintentional, and she accidentally cursed herself in the process.
  
  She fled the scene cursing Peaks, and he just bid her a farewell and went on with his childhood. Soon he found his childhood unending, a development which was found to be abnormal. His parents died in odd circumstances and his house collapsed, leaving him with no one and nothing. He hid in the cupboard of an empty house for sometime while he grieved. After awhile, he pulled himself out of his depression and began to travel the world.
  
  He took with him a blank book he'd found in the cupboard, and began to fill it in with the things he saw as he traveled.

• Kinesis Explained

  Kinesis is the power of controlling kinetic energy, allowing for amplified physical hits, as well as explosions if enough energy is focused into one spot. When Peaks is using kinesis, a small red whirlwind with red flashes of electricity within will appear around where the energy is being focused (usually his right hand) and there will be a kind of static whine sound in the air.
  
  Kinesis can also be used to convert a person's or object's kinetic energy into potential energy, freezing them for a small period of time until the potential converts itself into kinetic again.
  
  Raw projectiles of kinetic energy can be made, and Peaks usually utilizes these in the form of mines by hiding them in the ground.
