• Biography

  Hadrien Shaddeus was born to a wrath demon and a slave girl named Victoria. He was one of two children, the other being Ekso and having an appearance far more demon-like than Hadrien's normal human one. Early on, he began showing signs of jealousy and anger towards his brother for squandering his powers and not using them. Hadrien had been born with the short end of the stick and possessed no powers whatsoever.
  As a teenager, Hadrien immersed himself in the dark arts and black magicks, but being a simple human just like his mother, he couldn't wield any of it. He began to associate being a human as being a slave. One late evening, he assaulted his father, managing to best the demon of wrath, and tore out his eyes, replacing his own with them. With his newly acquired eyes, he was granted minimal power. It was enough to kill off his father. Then he rounded on Victoria and Ekso. However, weakened from his first bloodshed, Hadrien didn't have enough power to finish them off, and they managed to escape.
  Hadrien took control of the castle and named his minions the Umbra Abyssus, or Shadow Hell. Over the years he has gathered new abilities and met new allies, including Mindy, who has become his wife. He delights in destruction and pain and will resort to it if he becomes bored.
