• Biography

  Eve was born into a rich family in the year 2353, her original surname Thompson. She had a brother, James, who was seven years her senior. When she was five, there was an accident that resulted in the death of her mother. Her father blamed her for it and had little contact with her for the rest of his life. James and some of the staff at their home raised her.
  After gaining a phd in psychology (She would have gotten it much sooner than it would take in our time), she was approached by the United Earth Peace-keeping Corp. The UEP isn't quite as benign as it sounds, however. They are primarily a covert agency that spies and manipulates in order to keep the fragile global peace.
  After training as a field agent, Eve was sent out on an assignment and mistaken for a high ranking agent and captured by a dangerous group of anarchists, the rest of the team that had accompanied her killed. After they realized that she was not who they thought she was, she was given over to their weapons research division as a test subject for biological and chemical warfare.
  By the time the UEP managed to rescue her, she was mostly dead, only kept alive so they could use her for more tests. The UEP were going to let her go when a doctor specializing in cybernetics suggested to James that he could save her, and that she could live a normal life. James eventually agrees.
  Eve's entire nervous system had to be replaced with cybernetics, as did some of her brain. Her left eye and ear, her right arm, and both of her legs are prosthetics. The left side of her face had to be completely re-built.
  The cybernetic part of her brain works like a computer, allowing her to remember everything, think faster, etc. She still serves in the UEP.
  Eventually, the UEP is taken down from the inside, and their space station headquarters is sabotaged. Eve manages to escape with her friend Izumi due to the interference of an angeldroid named Ezekiel, who had often been assigned to Eve's team and was one of her best friends. Unfortunately, Ezekiel had sacrificed the chance to get his program safely to the surface, instead choosing to remain in his body to help Eve. His body was destroyed in an explosion, and with nowhere for his mind to go, Eve decides to place him into her own circuitry--against Izumi's protests--essentially sharing her own body with the AI.
