  He's pensive, aggressive, sarcastic, and not typically one to show sympathy. But this is all just a facade, a mechanism he uses to deal with haunting memories and the hurt he carries.
  
  He was born into an economically struggling city and household. He lived comfortably until when he was about nine his father left the family, shortly after, older brother killed himself. For about a year, it was only Konan, his younger brother Grae, and his mother, Tali. His mother developed a drinking problem and soon was incapable of taking care of her children.
  
  Konan and his younger brother were taken from Tali and were split up into foster care. Konan was taken in by a family but after his twelfth birthday , he ran away, though he was soon found. The following year, he was put into a four new homes before he finally found the Marek household, where he took an interest in magic. As he learned magic, his happiness grew.
  
  Sadly, his happiness was short lived. A raid of Riven came through his village, burning the houses, slaughtering families and animals, and pillaging their supplies. Konan had managed to make it out alive by running to the forest along with his foster sister and two other villagers.
  
  Needless to say, a war started because of the attack.
  
  Konan, still recovering from the events, was sent into another foster home. The foster parents were abusive, verbally and physically. Konan would often have to wear hoodies and jeans to cover up bruises and cuts. He walked himself to a school a few miles away every day and would often get picked on by the other students because of how tall he was and because of the fact he didn't look at perfect as other members of his species did- being elves, perfection is usually the sole outcome.
  
  On Konan's fifteenth birthday, Konan started learning how to go Thin. Thinning is allowing oneself to, say, walk through walls. But it also works the other way, for example, if someone threw a pillow at him and he went thin, the pillow would go through him. It proved quite effective against his abusive foster parents, but it was quite exhausting and he could only stay Thin for around five seconds without growing tired.
  
  One time he was Thinning while playing Hide and Seek with his neighbor, and hid inside of a tree. He only lasted about fifteen seconds before exhaust began to overcome him. He stepped out of the tree and allowed himself to go back to normal, however he was standing in a clump of weeds. Because he was standing in the weeds while he was thin, meant they couldn't touch him. However, because he became solid again, the weeds were stuck inside of him physically. This happened a few more times with various items, such as curtains, grass, a flower, and a handful of pebbles. Each time, the things that get stuck leave scars, making it to Konan's body is practically covered.
  
  He grew up and moved out immediately, taking the cat, Mina, and his few belongings with him. In his time at the foster house, he'd learned how to steal and pickpocket, making it easy to get a small house of his own.
  
  His house is a small, cozy cottage with a large garden and multiple birdbaths. He enjoys watching birds and has a pet finch. However he is hardly home and has taken a liking to adventuring and is constantly out exploring and going new places. By doing so, he hopes to find the happiness and content he never had.
