• Description

  The blue-blooded troll stood a little over six feet tall. Broad shouldered, well muscled, strong-jawed, with a narrow waist. His ebony hair was sleek and straight, kept up more often than not in a neat pony tail to keep it out of the way. Dark glasses often covered his intense, navy blue eyes. He dressed in the navy blue garb of a Captain of the Guard. Mostly leathers, including a broad belt with a beautiful, basket-hilted rapier sheathed at his side. Tall, dark leather boots were also a part of the ensemble, the only thing metallic other than his belt buckle being two polished pauldrons, though they were mostly hidden by his navy blue cloak. A royal blue tabard completed the ensamble and gave him a bit of a musketeer’s or swashbuckler’s look.

• History

  It is well known that Equius used to be the Captain of the Guard for the Lord at the local castle. He was highly respected and favoured, until the day an evil wizard overthrew the castle and took it at his own. Despite being an accomplished veteran with a rapier, bow and arrows, and at boxing, there was nothing the physical strength of the Troll Captain could do against the wizard's dark magic. The castle now lies hidden under an enchantment that keeps it in shadow and entangled by deadly thorns, and no one knows what happened to its previous Lord. Equius makes his life in the nearby forest, the ex-Captain now more of a ranger than anything. Spending some nights under the stars, in the forest, or at the local Inn, where he always has a "Blade for Hire" parchment up on the local bulletin.
