• Description

  Alex Wolf is a miserable man. He smokes too much; he drinks too much; he steals, cheats, lies, and otherwise pisses all over the legal system. He's a detective - a very corrupt detective. He takes bribes and often serves as the inside man for both the Chinese and Italian mafia, due to his heritage and ability to speak both languages fluently.
  
  His mother was a Chinese prostitute who was mostly dead inside and his father was a piece of shit Italian from the mob with anger issues. His childhood was full of drugs, whores, and never ending beatings. Frankly, it's not surprising he turned out as a terrible person. Despite all of that, he truly wanted to do some good with his life and became a cop. However, after experiencing first hand how corrupt the system was, he gave up and fully immersed himself in the festering pile of garbage that is the justice system.
  
  Alex has a very dark sense of humor and is incredibly cynical and jaded. He doesn't really fit in anywhere. The police treat him like a failure; the Chinese disrespect him because of his father, and the Italians think he's tainted trash because of his mother. He's only taken seriously because of his authority as a detective, which he feels he has to abuse to gain any kind of foothold.
  
  He tends to lash out and over react if he's cornered. Mostly however, he takes the path of least resistance and just goes with the flow. Or at least with whatever is less trouble and pays best. He has a very self destructive personality, but surprisingly goes out of his way to minimize the damage to himself only, trying to prevent innocent bystanders from getting caught up in his bullshit. That is unless he feels they're not innocent, then he drags them in and sits back to watch the shit show.
  
  Unbeknownst to Alex, his family carries a dark curse (read Jiantargo's profile) that grants him immortality at a steep price. The only way to die is to produce an heir who will then inherit the curse freeing its predecessor. Since Alex has a platitude of social and emotional issues, including intimacy problems, he isn't about to produce an heir any time soon, and so he's stuck with the inability to die, which under normal circumstances wouldn't be a problem, except Alex is fed up with life and wants it to end.
  
  On top of that, there's a deranged warlock out to just fuck his life up. So, there's that too. What's a suicidal, immortal, corrupt detective to do?
