• ━ Pride Plots ━

  〈 These are roleplay plots that are open to the entire pride and are used to move the pride forward in their history and climb to power. Don't be afraid to whisper the leaders of the pride (Adea) and suggest plot ideas. 〉

  
  ━ "Their Future"
  The queen is without a king. She must take a mate and immediately reproduce to secure the future of their pride. These children will be of the utmost importance, even if the queen herself doesn't much care for children at all.

  ━ "Pound of Flesh"
  Vita and another pride get into a row, a vicious display that won't end anytime soon, and unfortunately, Vita's Queen is determined. The only way to make Vita crawl back to their lands is payment. Living payment.
  (A cub will be "traded" for peace, taken to raise by Vita)

  ━ "Before it Hits the Ground"
  A male from Vita will end up finding a female from another pride (consent please) and a child is born from the coupling. Vita comes and demands the child either be slaughtered and the female punished, or the child be given to them.

  (Please concent in this, no surprise mating or anything distasteful, that's against everyone's' rules)
  
  ━ "Blood Treaty"
  Finding an agreement between pride's, a Vita royal will be chosen to carry or give a child of the leader of another pride as a treaty of peace. This would bridge disputes and calm the waters before they rise.

  ━ "Blood Price"
  Vita finds a lion on their lands, and after a confrontation, this lion is taken captive by the pride. This lion can either be a loner or part of an existing pride, but will be treated as a prisoner and very badly. This could end in them escaping, them being released, or their getting killed.

    It has been well over a year since the pride has stirred, and a familiar face returns to the prides' lands. Valerica.
    Upon seeing how abandoned it all looks, she searches for any signs of her parents, siblings, or pride mates, but to no luck. There have been no lions here for some time. Though she is afraid of their fate, she is determined and declares herself Queen of Vita in her parent's absence.
    Now she will wait to see who of her family returns if they live at all."

    Adea sets out on an exploration adventure with Devotee in tow. The two travel beyond their borders and soon enough come to the sands of the south. Soon they realize they have walked right into the territory of another pride. As the thought crosses their mind, the queen of said pride makes an appearance and calls the two over. They meet Pharaoh Mahes, the queen of Deshret, who is heavy with a litter of cubs. The three lionesses have a very pleasent talk, and Adea soon takes leave with Devotee.

    Queen Adea rests outside the den with her now yearling children, Valerica and Jimmi, while Devotee relaxes to the side. Time has passed quite quickly for their little family, but they've grown stronger. Time will only tell what lies ahead for Vita."

    " Valerica goes with her mother out beyond farther than she had ever been before in her life. Her little eyes get to see their home for its beauty and splendor. Soon enough, her mother sits and explains to her that her place within the pride is going to end soon, but Vale does not know what her mother means. Adea reassures her as well as she can, though Adea is not very motherly.
    
    After their brief talk of her future, Adea then begins to tell Vale many stories of her past and how their family came to be, and how vast the world really is. All of this is extremely tiresome for a little cub, who falls asleep amidst the stories, and her mother carries her home to the safety of the den. She sleeps blissfully, for now, forgetting what her mother had said. . ."

    There is a mewling coming from the den. Devotee tells Kong that Adea has been gone since the day and he should probably go check on his cubs. Nervously for the first time, Kong enters the den and is greeted by a minature version of himself in his son, Jimmi. He takes the time to introduce himself and play with his child."

    While out stretching her legs from being cramped inside the pride den, Adea catches a familiar scent on the wind and follows her instincts to a large spot of land south of their jungle. There, she stumbles upon her long lost sister, Balaa. The two reunite and share their joy of finding one another after they thought each was dead. Adea finds out her sister is the Queen of Nguvu, and the two queens then immediately ally their respective prides.

    Matriarch Adea slunk away into the pride den to be alone for a while, feeling her time had come. Hours of pain and annoyance, being alone so her family didn't see her in such a state, she successfully birthed 3 healthy cubs.
    Welcome Jimmi, Valerica, and Ashlial to the pride."

    Adea rests outside the pride den one evening, relaxing and getting used to the changes her body is undergoing. It had been a bit since her and Kong had their special evening, and it had become clear now that the lioness was carrying Kong's children.
    
    Devotee approaches the Queen while the lady of the house rests and introduces a new male who wishes to reside on their land. This male is named Rorik, and presents himself maturely and respectfully towards the Matriarch. Adea grants him permission to stay within their land and states the rules and what is expected of him and his presence."

    Dev is out patrolling the lands, scouting for the aggressive male they had met a few days before. She searches every inch of the territory but does not find a single trace of him. Instead she happens to catch wind of another male passing through and she makes a bout to cut him off and ask his business on the land. His name is Rorik and Dev discovers he is just exploring. She decided to take him to meet Adea."

    Devotee meets with her 'Uncle' Jengoda. It's a heartfelt reunion to see him again but he does not stay long, looking for any pride members still missing from the flood. She returns to the den to be met with a joke from Kong which she takes displeasure to. She hits him with her tail and he follows her. Irritated and wanting an answer as to why. She takes him out further into the lands and then attacks him without warning, testing him to see if he is a threat to any lioness of the pride on their own. He tries his best to talk her off him, only hitting her in self defence. Pleased that he passed her little test, she finishes a hunt then leaves him.

    While the Queen is out on her own, cooling down while her estrus is in full heat, Kong stumbles upon her still in a tizzy from his spat with Dev. The two fight before he catches onto her condition, and becomes quite sweet on Adea. Soon, the two seal the pact and Kong is the new Sovereign."

    While Queen Adea rests in her throne tree, a lioness comes bearing gifts in way of an antelope fawn carcass. The lioness says her name is Devotee and was directed by Kong to seek out the Queen of Vita. After a conversation, the Queen admits the lioness into the pride with the rank of Ambassador.

    During the monsoon, Adea finds a battered, dusty male swim up to her den and seek shelter from the rising tides. The male is called Kong, and by allowance of the Queen, has been given clearance to remain on the new lands.
    
    Vita has relocated to the Jungle of the Outlands."
