    Scratch is a Wendigo, an ancient spirit of hunger and cannibalism that manifest whenever a human eats another of its kind. Scratch himself was manifest only 45 years ago when a group of lost hikers turned to desperate measure. Scratch possessed of the hikers and devoured the rest of his peers. With its blood purpose finished Scratch found itself trapped in its meaty prison and the hunger, a ceaseless hunger that drove it onward. No matter how much meat it devoured only the flesh humans offered it a moments peace. Scratch soon turned to dark magics in a mad attempt to put an end to its hunger. Crazed, arrogant, and powered by an arcane curse Scratch wanders wherever his stomach takes him.
