• Appearance

  Gwynevieve is a hybrid of sorts. Born from an Elven father and Fae mother, she is quite on the tall side standing at 5’10. She has the long, lean body of an Elf, her body toned with muscle and moving with unparalleled grace, while her face portrays the more whimsical Fae blood, with stunning bright eyes that seem to shift colors with her mood. With lips colored like a freshly budding rose and long dark eyelashes, she would almost be gorgeous if it wasn’t for the solemn look she keeps fastened to her features. Her hair is long, hitting just below her waist when fully let down and such a pale blonde it almost appears white, contrasting nicely with the slight tan of her skin from many long days under the sun.
  
  Gwyn can usually be seen in simple flax linen clothes in rich earthy tones with embossed leather armor thrown over it, but on occasion, she wears clothing that would look more befitting for a Fae warrior, with whimsical tules and rich pastels that almost appear transparent. One would never catch her without her bow, made from mahogany and carved with delicate patterns by her mother, or the thick leather quiver gifted to her from her father.

• Personality

  Gwyn is a hard person to get along with. Elves are known for their honesty, no matter how brutal it may be, and though her blood isn’t pure, she still carries that trait. She’s a very solemn person, incredibly task-oriented, and refuses to take crap from anyone. She’s a tough girl in a time when women are meant to be delicate and fragile. Though she faces a lot of prejudice for her career choice, she continues on, being an incredibly skilled huntress. Gwyn is intelligent and can be kind and generous, though she’ll do so with a look of indifference.
  
  Gwynevieve is intelligent, the value of good education having been pumped into her as a child, and has quick wit even beyond the books. She’s a survivalist by nurture, her father having taught her everything he knows about the wilderness and her mother giving her the combat skills she uses to assist in her field of work. She won’t back down from a fight and isn’t afraid to say what she thinks.

• Background

  Gwyn was born to a happy home. Her parents were very loving and quite happy together. Their union, however, was met with disdain by both Elven and Fae communities, not desiring the mixing of blood. Her happy little family was then forced to live on the outskirts of a small a Elven town bordering the edge of the kingdom. She was picked on and bullied quite a bit for her differences, the Elven girls envying her delicate, pretty face and the boys scrutinizing her for not acting girly enough.
  
  Gwyn was a tough child and handled the ridicule with ease, barely allowing it to get under her skin. However, her parents saw her troubles in a different light and decided to have another child to accompany her. Life was going smoothly at this point. Her father was beginning to train her to use a bow while her mother, a former Fae warrior, taught her the basics of combat. As her mother’s stomach grew, so did the nights mother and daughter would sit next to the fire, going over her schoolwork.
  
  When the baby finally arrived, they were met with tragedy. It had been predicted before that the mingling of species would make reproduction difficult, but since Gwynevieve was born without problems, they thought themselves lucky enough to try for a second. The sounds of her mother’s despaired screams made it evident that the baby did not survive. Her home became less lively then, her mother constantly depressed while her father scrambled to comfort her.
  
  Gwyn was left to her own devices but used that time to better her training and schoolwork. Both were great distractions from her failing home life and the ridicule she faced from the rest of the world. She learned to take care of herself at a very young age, only thirteen before more tragedy set into her life.
  
  Though her family had been living peacefully, there existed those who despised them for being together. They thought it disgusting and belittling of both species should they continue in this manner. The threats began coming and, despite her parents’ best efforts to conceal such cruelness from her, she only felt more isolated and closed off from the world. Gwyn buried herself even deeper into her training, now strong enough to fight off the boys that pulled at her hair when they teased her.
  
  The young hybrid only grew more strong and more distant as time passed and at age sixteen, she was a force to be reckoned with. It wasn’t long after her birthday that she came home from a sluggishly slow day of school to find her home abandoned. The place had been ransacked for the most part, things turned over and broken or simply missing. Her only clues to what happened to her family were faint trails of dried blood that ended at the beginning of the forest.
  
  Since then, Gwyn has vowed to find out what happened to the only two people in the world that cared for her and seeks justice for their untimely fates.
