  Many furres experience a lot in the few years they have lived, some things more serious than others, and Fluorie was no exception to that rule.
  
  Born to an absent mother and father, whom both spent every waking hour working in order to feed their children, Fluorie felt compelled to adventure into the world alone at the ripe age of thirteen. She had been forced to gain independence in the years she spent in her home in Meovanni and this independence quickly filled her soul with an aspiration to leave the warm, yet lonesome comfort of her home. While she had many brothers and sisters, she never quite felt like she was in the right place, even as young as she was. But she quickly learned just how difficult it was to strike out on your own, and was often finding herself in situations she had never been subjected to before and did not know how to handle. But she learned to get by, and by the age of 15, just two years after she had left home, she had a meager but manageable savings of clothing, equipment, food and currency to live off of as a single traveler. She learned how to portion what rations she had and to hide when it was necessary. Most of her days were spent on street corners begging for anything a more fortunate furre could provide for her, as well as scanning bazaars and storefronts for things she may buy and refurbish in order to sell for more. With this, she learned of her own creativity, particularly within the art and song world, using whatever material she could find to draw and sell her works, as well as using her voice to woo those who would pass her on the street in and effort to gain coin.
  
  Fluorie lived this way for some time, though she could not tell you exactly how long her begger days lasted. But she could, detail for detail, tell you of the day a beautiful and mysterious creature lured itself into her presence.
  
  

  Like most days, Fluorie set herself up in the same place of Imaginarium, setting up her cup and beginning her songs. Some would walk by and completely ignore her, others would scoff at such a lowly being. Some would look upon her and quirk a brow, offering a "most fruitful deal" to her, extending an invite to "friendly" locations within Furrabian Nights. And then there were some who would stop and enjoy her voice, some would sing along to the words they knew, and then offer up small coin to her cup. She would smile and nod their way without missing a note. Today garnered the normal crowd of passerby. It was midday, and shortly the small Skunk would be taking a break. As she was wrapping up a song, a hooded being slowly gravitated towards her, humming along to her voice. Upon finishing, the figure clapped, offering a soft voiced, "Lovely," before bowing towards Fluorie. She bowed back as the character came closer and offered a pretty penny to the begger's cup. "What are you called?" came the soft voice again, nondescript as to its gender. Fluorie responded with her name, before picking up her cup slowly and beginning to bundle up her belongings, "What is it to you?" her voice was not unkind in its remark. "Just an innocent curiousity," the cloaked character responded. Fluorie nodded, "Well, I am done for the day. I will return here tomorrow," she began to pace away, "Good day to you." The figure did nothing but nod, unmoving, and watching the skunks leaving. She could feel the figure watching her, a strange uneasiness hinted in her gut. She happened upon her usual inn and made her way to the back of it, where she ate, went over her current rations, and slept, only accompanied by the resident trash cans and sounds of the night.
  In her dreams that night, she dreamed of peace; of laying in a soft downy bed with a full, happy stomach. The figure she had met before was there, watching her, but their presence did not bring the same uneasiness as before, but rather, a warmness she had not felt in a long time.
  The next day, Fluorie brought wares to her spot in the street. Paintings of famous furres, scriptures on linen, anything she thought might interest a buyer. She managed to sell two works by the afternoon, when a familiar hooded figure approached her spot. She nodded at their direction, and a smile could be seen just underneath of the bottom of the characters hood, "Beautiful work, Fluorie." Like the day before, she thanked them, "Anything of interest?" she questioned. The figure stood motionless and quiet for some time, before finally speaking, "There is something," they answered. Fluorie looked at them expectantly, but they did not move to reach any of her work. Her brows furrowed, "Okay... What would you like?" Again there was no answer, but instead, the character looked away, down the street, in the direction of the Inn that Fluorie frequently slept behind. "Meet me inside your Inn," they again, finally spoke up, and without missing a beat, began walking away. Fluorie's eyes widened at this, and she could do nothing but stare at the figure as they drifted away. She was spooked for the rest of her work day, not so much as looking up from the ground even as someone took up one of her paintings and left their payment in front of her.
  When it was time to finish for the day, the skunk was unsure about if she should take up the strangers offer. But she was damned well curious enough, and after some thinking, figured she might as well see what this was all about. She knew she could run if it would be necessary, so she gathered her belongings and set out for the inn. Instead of finding her usual spot in the back of the establishement, she went inside for the first time since she had first began frequenting Imaginarium. She slid her pack from her shoulder and pressed it against her chest, standing at the doors and looking around for the familiar cloak she had seen the past two days. The inside of the Inn was bustling with furres enjoying the inns bar and coming in to rent a room for the night. Hollering, chanting, clinking glasses, a smell of booze was thick in the air as Fluorie made her way to the front desk, hoping to inquire about the person in question. It was her luck that the worker she talked to knew exactly who she was referencing when she spoke of a cloaked figure coming in, and they directed her to the room they stayed, insinuating they were expecting a second occupant.
