⌘Clothing: His most typical attire is a mixture of thick black leather and golden armour that makes a striking image against the bellowing dance of his green cape. A golden helm often sits upon those black strands, horns curling from its top in an imposing air that only endows him with the reverence of unbridled power. His armour is heavily warded with intricate spells that protect him against many curses. |
⌘Accessories: An assortment of silver daggers with emeralds embedded in their blades. They are balanced perfectly and covered with runes that return them to the grasp of their owner effortlessly. He also commonly possesses a scepter that holds the potential to grow to the length of a staff. Its golden details and eerie blue glow eerily similar to the weapon SHIELD beliefs itself to have confiscated. Also among his arsenal is Gram, known in old Norse as 'Laeveteinn' a mystical ancestral sword wielded by Loki. Ironically it is said the sword is capable of piercing any lie with truth telling magic. |
⌘Markings: There are too many scars decorating the sorcerer's body, all of them with stories lost to time. |
⌘Countenance: Loki presents himself with an undeniable intense, cunning, malicious, and yet charming facade. |
Lies and secrets, they are like a cancer in the soul. They eat away what is good and leave only destruction behind.
There an embellished air of grace about this man, for all his movements are smooth and fluid like the deceit that slides from his tongue. The deity sports a lithe frame which remains lightly toned and draped in cloth materials of green with adornments of gold armor here and there. His gaze is heated behind twin emeralds, burning with an intensity of a winters blizzard. Feathered strands of black hair are slicked back to fall along his neck, their lustrous shine drawing attention to just how charming his facade could be. Before you was the god of mischief, the harbinger of chaos, and the prince of deceit. Watch your step. |
⌘Sorcery: Loki is noted as the most powerful sorcerer in all of Asgard, second only to Odin. Loki has the ability to generate and control a great quantity of mystical abilities for a variety of purposes, of which can be used to further enhance or augment his physical diagram, like his speed, strength, and stamina, but only temporarily. His known abilities include the ability to fire powerful beams of concussive force, generate highly durable force fields, bring inanimate objects to life, or mystically imbue objects or beings with specific but temporary powers. His magical abilities are ranked as the most skilled sorcerer in the Asgardian dimension. His more specific skill set may befound below. ⌘Shape-shifting: Not a simple 'change' of skin or illusion. Loki assumes the entire form of his desire subject, able to gain the basic natural abilities inherent in each form. This includes the ability to bear children as woman, for example. ⌘Hypnosis: Although likely an off branch of the above mentioned telepathic abilities, this notable enough on its own to mention separately. This ability allows Loki to not only subdue targets into sleep-- it also allows him to control their subconscious to do his bidding if they are susceptible enough. This power may be enhanced with the assistance of his Tesserect Scepter. ⌘Astral Manipulation: As an experienced sorcerer, Loki has shown the ability to control both the Astral and Corporeal presences around him-- allowing him to 'trap' spirits in the astral plane or commune with the dead. This ability also includes psionic manipulation. The ability includes projection; where he may separate his spirit from the body by entering a trance, gaining access of travel to the Astral Plane. ⌘Molecular rearrangement: Ability to alter the chemical, biological and physiological structure of 'weaker' creatures and or objects. The stronger the resistance of the 'creature/object' the more energy the transformation requires. Requires physical contact to 'subject'. ⌘Eldritch energy blast: The most basic of all spells known to a warlock, used by virtually all who form eldritch pacts. When Loki casts this form of Arcane power he typically creates and fires it from his hands. It is notable as a vibrant green of arcane energy that may travel well over a range of up to a hundred feet. This raw and unrefined magic is rudimentary, but can be cast as many times as Loki desires, due to how little energy it takes. ⌘Teleportation: The ability to transcend time and space, and appear almost instantly in another location. Not limited by distance. Limited only by energy reserves at the time. The more energy he has stored the greater distance he is able to teleport. It is rumored that Loki has intimate knowledge of Yggdrasil and that it's roots guide him. ⌘Frost Giant Alignment : Due to Loki's nature as a Jotun, he has a unique and natural affinity to water and all its forms. Be it gaseous and or solid, he is able to intimately manipulate it with little effort. If he so willed it, his touch may cause severe frost burn to living organism, or plummet the temperature of a room well below zero. ⌘Illusion casting: This ability has an limitless potential. It has been used for everything from hiding objects in plain sight, to creating projections of himself and others. The more time and energy Loki allows to siphon into the spell, the more realistic it will seem. When used in tandem with his psionic manipulation-- it allows his illusions to be touched, tasted, and even smelt. His most powerful illusions can not be easily detected. |
⌘Telekenetic/Levitation: Loki can influence the movement of objects and people with his mind, and as such, this power proves to be devastating and chaotic in nature. This is also the ability that allows Loki to float against the pull of gravity, reduce the momentum and speed of falling, and allowing on-foot travel over water and water-like surfaces. ⌘Telepathy: Able to place his voice in someone else's head, and converse with them. A visual of his target not required and beings with a 'weaker' conscious or mental strength are subject to being 'influenced' easily against their will. ⌘Strength: Loki, without the aid of anything, through his own biology, possesses superhuman strength that is substantially superior to that of an average Asgardian male. He possesses sufficient physical strength to lift up to 50 tons. It is possible, however, that he can further increase his strength through mystical enchantment on a temporary basis. ⌘Dense Tissue: Like Asgardians, Loki's bodily tissues have roughly 3 times the density of the same tissues in a human being. While he has the looks and physical proportions of a much smaller person, the increased density of his body actually makes him several hundred pounds heavier than he appears. This increased density also contributes to his superhuman strength to a limited degree. ⌘Durability: The tissues of Loki's body are superhumanly durable and are roughly equal to those possessed by the average Asgardian male. However, at times, Loki had imbued himself with magical abilities that enable him to withstand injuries that would prove fatal to another Asgardian if hit. He is able to withstand high caliber bullets, falls from great heights, powerful impact forces, exposure to temperature extremes and powerful energy blasts without being injured. ⌘Regenerative Healing Factor: Like all Asgardians, Loki, although he is inhumanly durable, at least by human standards, can still obtain injury, also like all Asgardians, his metabolism enables him to rapidly regenerate damaged tissue much faster and more extensively than a human being. However, through the use of his sorcery, Loki's ability to heal himself is far above that of other Asgardians. His magical energies are so imbued into his body that he can reattach severed limbs and, while still a male, even reattached his own head at least once. ⌘Stamina: Loki's Frost Giant metabolism grants him superhuman levels of physical stamina in practically all activities. He can exert himself at peak capacity for about 24 hours before fatigue begins to impair him. However, much like his physical strength and durability, Loki can temporarily augment his stamina through magical means. ⌘Longevity: Like all Asgardians, Loki ages at a far slower rate than humans. However, unlike some other god pantheons like the Olympians, who stop aging completely at a certain point, Loki isn't fully immune to aging. Although he does possess the potential to rebirth himself, and maintain the memories of his previous life. While he is several millennia old, at least, he has the appearance and vitality of a young Asgardian man in his physical prime. Loki is immune to the effects of all known Earthly diseases and infections. |
⌘Superiority inferiority complex: Loki's ambition has always proven to be his greatest flaw. His passionate hatred of Thor, his lust for power, and his tendency to alienate himself often leads to the failure of his conquests. |
⌘Humanity: Loki has a poor understanding of human nature, and continues to severely underestimate his mortal opponents and their capabilities. |
