• Backstory

  Yngvol Long-Winter was born, 27 years ago, to Harold Long-Winter, a retired member of the Companions. On his father's passing, Yngvol was gifted his family sword, the Diinaan Tuz, simply meaning Frozen Blade in the dragonspeak. Despite having a strong love for fighting and mercenary work, Yngvol never attempted to join the Companions, his father doing nothing but bad mouthing his former allies after an injury forced him into an early retirement. Despite being a Talos worshiping Nord, his father instilled a sense of chivalry in Yngvol, and as such treats all women with respect, even if they're not a Nord, though he is still suspicious of Altmer and Imperial women. He finds himself strangely drawn to being more friendly with Dunmer women, as he feels it is unjust how they are being treated in Skyrim. He can often be found in any one of the many taverns across Skyrim, though he tends to avoid Whiterun due to it being the home base of the Companions.

  • The Civil War in Skyrim: "You ask me, those Imperials should just leave us be. The Altmer, too. Skyrim can stand on it's own. That said, it'd be a shame to simply kick everyone that's not a Nord out of Skyrim, either."
  • Altmer: "Damned elves. Think they can control us with all their rules. Strong with Magic, though."
  • Argonians: "They're odd, to me. I've met one that I'd rather shove my sword through his throat than talk to. Met another that was nice enough. Gave me a good deal on a room and some mead."
