Even though Marshall falls a little below the average height for a man in the United States, he's not a little guy. Scrawny doesn't quite factor in. There's distinct tone to the muscles in his thighs, arms, abdomen, but they aren't overwhelming or particularly threatening. He's definitely not a body builder. His frame is what you would expect of a fit man. Twiggy is not a fitting word. There is a bit of thickness to his thighs, with his legs being where most of his muscle seems to be. More leg than torso.

Hair
Just your average ginger boy. Hair is usually a little messy, though surprisingly enough Marshall does know how to style it and often likes to sport different looks when he's doing something that requires a little care for his appearance. There's a bit of a natural wave to those locks.

Eyes
A deep, dark blue. There's a depth to them that seems impossible to reach or comprehend, but perhaps those who get to know him would realize that they're actually quite expressive when he wants them to be.

Clothing Style
Despite the fact that he often looks a little like he didn't really try this morning with the hair and whatnot, Marshall has some pretty okay fashion sense! Which really means he does his laundry regularly, folds his clothes and puts them away, or hangs what needs to be hung in the closet. His style is a little more dress casual, his wardrobe consisting of lots of cashmere sweater vests and comfy, expensive jeans and slacks. He will not wear something if it doesn't make him feel cozy.

Marshall's right ear is pierced, and he often wears studs or cute little kitty cat shaped ear rings.
Several cat tattoos along his right leg. He got really, really fucked up on the catnip one night and his buddy was a tattoo artist. He is deeply embarrassed by them, and often will not be caught in shorts because of it.

As with just about any other person in this world, it really depends on how well he knows you what sort of side you're going to see. Mr. Nolen isn't necessarily a bad guy, but he is very.. well, let's just say he's really in tune with his feline side.

He's got a lot of pride, and when it's hurt he wastes no time in letting you know. He'll knock a stack of books onto the floor, he'll tip a plate over because it doesn't have what he wants on it, he'll look you in the eyes with no remorse as he tips over your vase and lets it shatter. Don't think that Marshall will just forgive you with a simple sorry, either, because you're in for a rude awakening when your words fall on deaf ears and he rips up your flower garden. You'd think all of this happens when he's wandering around as a housecat, but no. He'll do it with two human hands. And he'll totally own up to it as well.

When you're not on his bad side.. well. He's still kind of a cat about it. He'll text you sporadically, leave you voice mails at two am about things he thinks are important. Discussions of books are always met with a different, excitable side of him and if you give him books you'll be one of his best friends. When he does want socialization and affection, he will be up your ass about it. Knocking on your door. Dragging you out of your house. And then.. abruptly he'll leave. He's a wild guy.

There's actually quite a bit of friendliness in there when he gets used to you, though. His sense of humor can be a little dry, but he tries. Sometimes his opinions on books is very in your face, but he'll damn sure try to find you the best possible book for your tastes, even if he'll tell you they're fucking awful. There's a deep love for knowledge and he wants to share all that he has access to. And if ever there's a night you don't have a roof over your head, well..
