Description:

Ebony fur spilled fluently over sleek and agile feline frame; tightly coiled muscles displayed beautifully for all to see. Eyes ablaze of crimson shone from within that dark veil; gaze burning brilliantly in the sea of black. Ears were scarlet dipped at the tips and held upright and forward in a self-assure manner while wickedly curved onyx horns extended from short, fiery red hair. Floating above her head, a black flame crown marked her as one of the dark lords, a title she wore with pride as it was well earned. Her body was devoid of so much as a scrap of clothes though it would be hard to tell given the vibrant scarlet tribal tattoos that covered her legs, hips, and breasts like clothing in its own right. From her back extended a set of massive leather-scaled wings; the color of blood and with black claws at the ends of the 'fingers' between which the leather spread. Her feet seemed almost dainty though from her toes extended claws like those of a raptor, as black as her onyx horns and with a cruel curve to them. Hands were more like talons than hands, coated in rich black scales up until reaching the fingertips from which those same raptor-like claws shown; death at those claws awaiting any who crossed her.

Abilities

Black flames: Par can create/control/manipulate black flames. She can 'take over' normal flames with her own powers. Her fire burns much hotter than a regular flame and is immune to being 'put out' by water almost acting like an oil-based fire.
Phantom touch: Ghostly touches, be it hands, arms, tongue, or something else, can sometimes be felt. It's typically paired with seduction.
Freeze/stop time: Par is able to actually stop time around her. She's also capable freezing time there by stopping a body from moving, but allowing the mind to still actively watch what's happening.
Shadows: Par can pull on her familiar's abilities and thus shroud herself in shadows. She can use them to hide or for dramatic effect if she's wanting to intimidate someone.
Power Displacement: Par has the ability to 'steal' the powers/immortality of other demons/magic users and there by strip them permanently of their powers. This is usually done by pouring her black flames into every orifice of the individual's body where it burns the power from them and soaks it up, then drawing it back to her. Once this is complete, she's capable of using those stolen powers as her own or 'gifting' them to another.
Fly: Wings are capable of flight.
Heightened Senses: Par's senses are several times greater than normal mortals.
Increased Strength/Speed: Speaks for itself.
Through-the-void: Par can create a sort of 'portal' by combining her black flames with her familiar's shadow-portal. She's then able to wrap herself in flames and step through the portal from one point to another. Unlike her familiar's, her ability is not entirely limited by distance. She is capable of portaling to a location in the near vacinity of a specific pre-selected person.

Quick Info:
A small beasty, or so it seemed, born of shadows and darkness. A love of mischief, night, and play made the fox one of those things your mother warned you about that goes 'bump' in the night. As a shadow fox, Zy gains his power from exactly that. Shadows and darkness can be drawn on to increase his size to that of a medium sized horse, capable of carrying riders if he so chooses. Those same elements can be gathered to create a shadow-path for the fox to run on, allowing him to essentially fly. Due to his bonding with Pariya, he also gained her powers over the black flames while she also gained some of his. Because their bonding was a mutual one (they had a close friendship before choosing each other to bond with), their powers were strengthened. Zy was attacked by Par's siblings. The little fox was severely injured and blinded in his left eye.

About:
It was when Pariya became a Dark Lord that she bonded with her Familiar, Zyphear. Zyphear is the closest being in the world to Par. They are two halves of the same whole. He is a quick and agile little monster who adores Par and is probably one of few who isn't leery of telling her when she's in the wrong.

Appearance:
Basic form: Small and slender with a thick but smooth onyx coat. His eyes are silver though the left is blind and more white than silver. Atop his head, his ear tips have long, silvery 'tufts' on them. Long, fluffy tail had a single red line around the tip, a mark of their bonding.

Personality:
Zy is shy and fearful of strangers. Most often, he 'hides' in plain sight, using the powers given from Par to become the black flame crown that adorns Par's head. If by chance he gets to know you well, he may make himself seen and often cause mischief about, usually harmless. Zy has a big heart though. Seeing another hurt or upset may tempt him out in an attempt to comfort and protect.

Abilities:

Shadow-path - Gather shadows beneath him in order to form a path on which he can run where ever needed, be it over water, land, mountains, snow or other things.

Shadow-portal - Zy can essentially 'climb into' any shadow and 'out of' another shadow in another location as though they were portals. This is limited by distance from one shadow to another and while it's possible for him to reach a shadow he can't see, it dangerous. Also, he can not carry others with him through these portals.

Call darkness - Call shadows from around him in order to increase his size several times over. The little fox can become a very large fox, allowing those he so chooses to climb aboard for a ride.

Fire Breath - An ability gained due to his bond with Pariya; Zy can call upon Par's power in order to breath black flames, very dragon-like.

Quick healing:

Par does heal quickly due to her demonic bloodlines. Mind you by heal quickly, I don't mean instantly. And if you were to cut off her head, yeah, that would probably not be heal-able.

Pure/holy powers:

These may have a negative effect on her if used by a 'holy' creature. Just as I would expect her demonic fire to effect said holy creature in some way. It's a give take... if you're going to pretend it doesn't effect your holy character, don't expect yours to effect mine. Share and share alike.

*What is a Dark Lord, you ask?

So glad you asked!

A Dark Lord is a higher level demon and always very powerful. They are also a part of the Dark Court. The Dark Court is chosen and ruled by the Master of the realm most know as "Hell" and serve as enforcers for his laws. The Lord of Hell is quite self-centered. He chooses his Dark Court based on their powers and what they can do for him; be it the strength of their powers or the unusual abilities, and by claiming the demon, claims the power as his own to be used as he sees fit. If the same demon lost their powers, he would no longer have a use for them and they would be banished from the Court.

Often times a Dark Lord has "royal" blood lines somewhere in their ancestry. The Lord of Hell is in no way a creature who chooses to 'love' someone and only be with them. He takes what he wants, lands, powers, and females alike, or the occasional male if it so pleases him. Because of this, there are many demons who harbor his bloodline as their father-line but he is relatively unaware of most. Nor does he care.

The title of Dark Lord is not determined by gender. A Dark Lord can be male or female and there is no "Dark Lady" title. They generally serve as the 'second circle' of rulers, the first circle being the Lord of Hell himself. When a demon crosses a line the Lord does not want crossed or goes against his laws, it is often the Dark Lords who hunt down and serve up the punishment to that demon, at their Lord and Master's command.

Each Dark Lord tends to have a different power. While some of their powers may be similar, often times there is something unique in the way their power answers their call or unique all together.
