  Appearance
  Even from a glance, most people can note that Yorke has a very soft appearance for a man apparently in his thirties. His complexion is smooth, clear, and very fair, but still has a few noticeable age lines in his face. His eyes are arguably his most memorable feature due to their large size and striking ice blue color. A comfortable undercut is his choice of hairstyle; he wears it in both a classic and modern way.
  
  Although not a fashion snob by any means, Yorke does tend to favor nostalgic clothing, such as classy jackets and various styles of hats. He maintains a nice, kempt look most of the time, whether out at a nice dinner or spending time somewhere private.
  
  History
  In the 1940s, an angel was sent to Earth with the obligation to blend amongst humans and prevent supernatural-based tragedies before they could occur. His loyalty couldn't be questioned at the time, but he'd always had a restless spirit and had been chosen with the idea that he could funnel this energy into this responsibility to protect the innocent. It worked, at least for a while.
  
  He met Jimmy Yorke in 1948. Jimmy wasn't a good man at all; he was a notorious thief and had assaulted a high number of people when he had been burglarizing their homes. Although he was a normal piece of scum rather than a demonic terror or lycan beast, the angel's internal radar told him to track this man. Since Jimmy didn't fall under the original mission, the angel decided to try to become close to Jimmy on the side in an attempt to change his morals.
  
  They became close. Very close. Jimmy had never felt infatuation towards a man, but the angel had a ethereal aura that drew him in, even though mortals couldn't see his full winged form. While Jimmy's feelings weren't too far beneath the surface and he even had spouts of cruelty, the angel fell deeply in love with this man. He was brash, but raw. During the early months of their time together, the former criminal kept low and abandoned his burglary career.
  
  Eventually however, Jimmy couldn't escape the itch to rob again, despite his happy lowkey romance with the angel. Not only did he succumb to the desire, he added on a new crime into his portfolio... murder. The angel immediately knew that his lover had murdered that family. Supernatural being or not, the angel could naturally sense a murderer. Even so, he stupidly ignored it. He had fallen prey to the most complex of human emotions. He stuck by Jimmy's side.
  
  Of course, this voluntary ignorance and mission abandonment deserved punishment. Not only was Jimmy's life violently taken from him, the angel's former white feathers melted into an oily black. He was forbidden from communicating with any of his holy family and could no longer have the option to leave the Earth, now having to wander eternally with his guilt.
  
  Unable to even speak his former name, he was forced to take on a new one: Samuel Yorke.
