The Hughes family are essentially jewelers, however, they have had the fortune of being the most frequently visited jeweller by the Vaughn family. The frequent income and trade has allowed the Hughes family to explode through the ranks of social hierarchy in a short space of time -- this popularity is the sole reason that her elder brother and sister were wed to such noble families.
Adaline is educated and well spoken, though her main languages are Welsh and Common. Unless specified, she chooses to speak in the Welsh tongue. Her voice holds a slightly common welsh twang to it, however it is still somewhat musical.
Companion to Alice Vaughn
Adaline's occupation, while something that has been decided for her, hardly seems like work at all. Her sole job is to be Alice's friend - something to occupy her until such a time that Alice is wed to another.
House & Board at the Vaughn manor are included, as well as a basic wage of 20gold a week. Her father, at present, does not provide her with additional allowance.
Unwed
Adaline is currently un-courted, and despite her father's encouragement to marry, she shows little interest in it. However she is rumoured to have had a few dalliances with men and women alike, pre-marriage. The extent of these encounters are unknown.

Adaline spends a lot of her free time either with horses, or at the local bar. Her new status has not allowed her to kick her gambling habit, and despite the disapproval she both socially smokes (not always tobacco leaves), and drinks.
She can also play the violin, sing, and is also knowledgeable in the trade of creating jewelry. The latter pass time means that, while her hands are very soft, they also bare small calluses that betray the newness of her rise in class. -

Long furred feline stood at a mere 5'6'', her long fur sleek and tame in comparison to the ice blue hair that pooled over her shoulders, curling at the ends in a wild tangle. Blue eyes were rimmed with kohl, lips a painted a coral pink that matched her nose. Snow fur bloomed into a labyrinth of grey that ran over her eyes, along her spine and her tail. Meanwhile, grey-tipped ears glistened with thin chains and blue gems that dangled from their golden cuffs.
