The first of the marionettes, this doll has a resemblance to Andrea Otxoa in her youth. Those who knew her when she was young would see and appreciate the remembrance of youth. A little witch doll, this marionette is known for slight of hand and "magic" celebrations where she can make fire appear as if from nowhere and how she appears to "fly" on her broom. A beautiful Chinese beauty, this doll is used to perform tea ceremonies, but is often kept for private company. It does not always seem to be in the best mood when she is brought out and Andrea Otxoa is a wonderful actress in that regard! A warrior, but this one a man. He is one of the favourites of Andrea Otxoa and since he is one of two male puppets she has, she seems to really dote on him. It has been rumoured she even takes him to bed to sleep next to her on occasion. Such a strange beast this woman is. She is delicate with grey skin and red eyes and hidden under her dress are four extra arms! It's strange to think that this is the type of marionette that Andrea Otxoa could really want, but it seems like the spider is a hit, especially the later the year. A sweet little red headed doll. She has removable strings and she often passed around the kids if there is time. It is rumoured that this one looks just like the daughter of the former strongman who drown in a river. It doesn't hurt they share the same name, but those are just rumours, right? The image of an evil unicorn, this is currently the only animal puppet within the circus. It is known as a cautionary tale for young kids. When it is brought out there is sure to be a story with a moral about containing our actions and not giving into the devil! A terrible vision all in itself, Alma's mouth opens from ear to ear and refuses to shut just right. Because of this, there are strips of fabric that are sewn closed after each performance. Some of the performers who go close to the pupper say they can hear it moaning in pain as she is sewn shut. |
A beautiful little fairy marionette. Used for dancing and magic play. She is able to produce sparkles from nowhere. She is a hit with kids! What a silly little marionette this one is! A Viking warrior woman, as if something like that were possible! She's got a mean expression and is good for being a bit of a play fighter, sometimes even sword fighting with men taller than she is! With the voice of an angel, this marionette is all about her singing talent. It's a bit strange to have a marionette sing, but it's ever so much fun for kids and adults alike! A precious little French folk doll, she seems to be one of the sweetest of all the marionettes. She is often used to speak about God in all His glory. This is only done in very religious areas and in those Madelina is often the only marionette that comes out. A sweet little prince marionette! He is rumoured to look like a lord who was disgraced in Germany, but those are only rumours. This little marionette is one of the smaller ones, but he is popular with little girls! A pirate of the high seas! This marionette has a condition called vitiligo that would have made her a good candidate for the Freak Show! There was once a woman who worked with the circus with the exact condition; maybe that is where Andrea Otxoa got the idea! This is not the first ventriloquist dummy that Andrea Otxoa has owned, but this is the first of her current collection. She was created in honor of the death of a clown within the company. She was made quickly and no one can forget her voice as Andrea Otxoa does a wonderful job imitating lovely Gwen. There are some who are not comfortable with the performances though, staying they sound just a little bit too life-like. A beautiful doll straight from India. She was ordered as a special gift for Andrea Otxoa by a man who claims to be in love with her. She has managed to contain her joy at the doll. Though it is the latest, it does not captivate her like some of the others have over the years. It can be assumed that Bhavara is not often center stage. |
