A web of shallow scaring on his knuckles, and a nearly uncountable number of scars that appear to be from minor injuries (Soft tissue regeneration abilities means he only scars if wounds are very severe. • Personality: Merry, Loud, boisterous, blunt...but in a charming way.
• Mannerisms: Hodge is a jolly giant by all accounts, talks a bit too much and doesn't beat around the bush. Doesn't take anything seriously and has no concept of personal space or boundaries.

Swordsmanship [Master] A "Paladin" Knight trained in the art of combat with a myriad of weaponry.

Marksmanship [Journeyman] High proficiency with both bows and crossbows.

As good and as bubbly as the brute is, as hard as he tries to be a good man and do the right thing. Deep deep down inside a monster hides...

Character insights for characters with mind reading or extra sensory abilities

Hodge files down the points of his fangs and claws, his golden teeth are just caps to help with tooth sensitivity and to cover up his eyeteeth which require the most filing. He does this to try and fit in and appear more approachable and less like a predator.

Hodge finds the smell and taste of blood and raw meat very pleasurable not unlike a vampire or man-eating creature. He does not indulge this and instead pretends it doesn't exist. Being confronted with it is very traumatizing.

Feasting on humanoid flesh both fuels and unlock his 'dark ancient' magic abilities inherited from his father. But his refusal to even consider partaking in such a thing has left him ignorant to the fact he even has such abilities. (for now)

Is able to shift into a more monstrous form. But not at will (yet). It has to be forced out of him either through magic or extreme emotional distress.

Hodge is capable of performing powerful abyssal arcane magic (Shadowmancy). But only at the cost of giving into the 'dark' side of himself. Is currently blissfully unaware of this ability.

Hodge is usually a very amiable guy, quick with a joke and slow to anger in most cases. He strives to solve most conflict through mediation, but will throw fists if he feels the need to stand up for someone who can't stand up for themselves. That being said, any overt slights against his deceased mother will almost instantly get under his skin.

Hodge is trying to live his life in a more peaceful way after spending a good portion working in violent professions. There are many things he has done in the past that he regrets and feels a great deal of shame and guilt over. The thought that he may be legitimately evil and broken frightens him.
