  Tenkojima is a tall and slim Urban Tabaxi with narrow, black eyes, a dark complexion, and overall intimidating figure. His claws are well trimmed, and his dark red fur with white streaks is fairly short. Aside from the fur on his head, he sports no hair or discernible scars. When not occupied or resting, he idly stands with an eerie stillness. He is usually wearing his traditional Eastern armor and sporting a Nodachi (Seen in image). His head is usually bent downwards, giving the appearance that he is indeed staring down in front of himself for little to no reason.

• Who is Tenkojima?

  Tenkojima is a Sword Saint, or what is know as a Kensei. He is the embodiment of the Warriors Code, and the spirit of Morality. Tenkojima has memorized the very virtues that led to his downfall, and still uses them to determine his path today.

  Integrity

  ”I must make a full commitment to my choices.”

  Tenkojima understood his choices long ago, and understands them now. He likes those who stand firm to their beliefs, and dislikes those who try to avoid the consequences of their actions.

  
  

  Respect

  ”My true character is shown when I am in the best or worst of situations.”

  He has seen many a fallen foe killed without purpose, and many a honest man wronged for no reason. He will not mimic these actions. Tenkojima respects those who spare an enemy who surrenders, and upholds honorable deals.
  
  

  Heroic Courage

  ”If I live in a shell, I am not living at all.”

  Tenkojima once feared death, now he tries to tell himself he does not. He agrees with those who will take risk to achieve their goals, and frowns upon those who did as he once did; avoid the risk in favor of mundane safety.
  
  

  Honor

  ”I cannot hide from myself.”

  His words and actions weigh on his conscience, even today. He can and will judge a person based on how they act, and will respect them more if they do not hide their true selves, even if their actions contradict his beliefs.
  
  

  Compassion

  ”If an opportunity or solution does not arise, I will create it myself.”

  The Tabaxi knows that hard work and training is needed to accomplish the most arduous of goals. Tenkojima values perseverance and a positive outlook over a negative, glass half full view. This is something his actions contradict occasionally, as he can become discouraged if progress is halted.
  
  

  Honesty and Sincerity

  ”Speaking and acting are one in the same for me.”

  Unfortunately, the Tabaxi can take things too seriously sometimes. This can lead to him having a different perspective based on what those around him say, and in turn makes his quite gullible. Simultaneously, if he makes a promise, he will do everything in his power to fulfill it. Empty words won’t win wars.
  
  

  Duty and Loyalty

  ”To all those in my care, I will stay true to until the end.”

  Indeed, the Kensei will form a bond that may last forever. Those who help him he will remember, no matter how small the act. If someone makes him good food, he will remember them even beyond the afterlife if he can. Whomever he deems as an ally, he will stand ready with them always, and face the world itself by their side.
