  July 19th, 1993: Katherine (now known as Luce), Kaitlyn and Kathleen Merlo are born. Luce was originally a triplet.
  
  July 22nd, 1993: Katherine is abandoned due to a “condition” that left her with black skin and exposed her heart and veins.
  
  July 26th, 1993: Katherine, just before entering the morgue, suddenly shows herself as a normal baby. Her parents do not believe she was miraculously resuerrected, believing she was miscarried, and do not take her back. Katherine, left unnamed really, was then put up for adoption.
  
  July 27th, 1993: Reagan Raesworth adopts Katherine and renames her Luce Raesworth.
  
  June 5, 2009: Luce becomes Ravenous for the first time and kills her first and only love, Maya, along with four other people. Also the first recorded Heartwrencher murders.
  
  November 23rd, 2014: Reagan Raesworth, Luce’s father, dies of cancer. Luce had to move out at this point, and it starts her depression phase. Her father was the only one that knew about her condition, and now she has no one to talk to about it.
  
  December 2014-2016: Luce goes through a manic suicidal phase. With no one to tell and no way of controlling her hunger, she may go on random killing sprees from trying to starve herself. The guilt of killing so much takes over and she made several suicide attempts so she wouldn’t have to take any more lives. None of these attempts worked; she wakes up a day or so later completely intact. It didn’t help that she couldn’t stay in a job anywhere, so she was barely surviving rent.
  
  January 1st, 2016-2018: Luce, after her last attempt put her in a coma for a month, gave up trying to kill herself because frankly, she could not die. She simply regenerated every time. So instead of wallowing in guilt she pulled a “fuck you” and decided to live and help other people live as well. She landed her job as barista of the Warm Wishes café and worked hard at it, and she loves her job.

• Personality

  Friendly, Self-Aware Bitch: Luce is the kind of person that wears a tough outer shell to hide the real person underneath. On the surface, Luce is direct, witty, sarcastic, and brutally honest. If she has something on her mind, she lets people know. The only exception to this attitude is when she is working at the Warm Wishes Café, instead trading out the very outspoken attitude for a friendlier demeanor trademark of most minimum-wage café employees. Sometimes the mask slips and she can't help joking around or gossiping with the customers.
  
  Loyal: She is almost deathly loyal to her friends, and if anyone hurts them she swears vengeance. She never really acts upon it though, other than shooting a glare or making a severely sarcastic remark about them, because she wasn't any better if she just hurt them back.
  
  Carefree: She has a loose moral system that consists of few defining rules:
  Do not hurt anyone unless they seek to destroy you and everything you love.
  Live freely as long as you do not hurt others doing so.
  Her general attitude is carefree as a result, sometimes leading to the bitchy attitude referred to before, but otherwise she will often let people have their fun unless someone gets hurt, then she intervenes.
  
  Perceptive: She taught herself to observe people’s mannerisms and appearances for “feeding” purposes, and she can do it fairly well. She will probably notice some things about a person just by their mannerisms and appearance, and often memorizes them. For later use in feeding.
  
  Self-Loathing: Each death she caused used to drive her close to madness, and soon after her father’s death did she start having suicidal tendencies. With no one to go to about her “condition”, she only spiralled down the depression rabbit hole with no one to pull her out. She believes that she should never have been born because all she does is take lives for the sake of furthering her own, and has made 6 attempts to end her life. All failed due to her regeneration, allowing her to wake up the next day or so (depending on the severity of the attempt; her last one was by beheading, which put her in a coma for a month, and one of her earlier attempts was by shotgun, and she woke up a week after). Even after starting anew at the beginning of 2016, she still suffers from self-deprecating thinking from time to time.
  
  Love for Normalcy: After the beheading failed, she gave up trying to die and, with much convincing from her landlady, tried to live a normal life again. She landed a job as barista at the Warm Wishes café, and loves her job dearly because it was so normal. “Normal” things like these, usually the small, everyday things no one notices much, distract her from her supernatural being and unfortunate necessities.
