Finnegan Wellington

History

• Biography

  Finn is the second-born to Caoithe and Logan Wellington. He was born in Lachcannon, Scotland in a hospital not too far from the ocean. His mother named him Finnegan after one of her favorite childhood storybook characters. When Finn was around three, it was evident that he was a gifted child, but he never really showed that to his parents. His father was an alcoholic and took his abuse out on his children and especially towards his wife. After putting her in a hospital, the police got involved and took the children and Caoithe to America.
  
  His mother suffered mentally from all of the abuse. She and Finn couldn't be touched or else they would freak out (Finn is still like this) and Finn rarely spoke to anyone. Of course, this changed a little after his mother remarried to a very nice man named Sitiyok. He had a son around Finn's age named Atka and the two became immediate friends. His mother later had four more children and Finn and Atka helped raise them.
  
  Finn never talked in school, but his teachers could see through his work that he was WAY ahead of most of his classmates. He was put in a higher grade and graduated high-school at age 15. He went to Harvard and got a degree in science. He was a pretty good inventor and made his bag that works similarly to Honey Lemon's from BH6 (except it's just a regular bag on the outside).
  
  Finn eventually grew out of his quietness and joined Overwatch. He met a woman there named Erika and the two fell in love and got married within three years. Both of them went through wars and Finn was hit the hardest. He lost his entire squad even when he tried desperately to save them. It often ends up in his dreams and he gets terrible night terrors, often causing him to have anxiety attacks.
  
  A few years later, Finn and Erika had two boys; Michael (the oldest) and Arthur (the youngest). Erika died due to complications during birth and Finn was left to care for the two boys with his younger half-sister Rain. He's still a part of Overwatch and tries his best to be a good father to his sons.
