    Gemma, born Juan, knew from a very young age that she wasn't like the other kids. She displayed "feminine" behaviour which caused her to be physically and emotionally abused by her parents, siblongs and classmates. She eventually dropped out of school and moved out, so she could live as a woman and practice sports, her passion.

    At age 25, she joined the Team, a group of supernatural beings who investigate the problems in the world and fight against evil. There, she met Adrian, who she could relate a lot to. They eventually fell in love and are now dating.
