    Sowelu is a light coyote who, when not radiating light from her form, is pure white with golden, curly Theban Runes upon her shoulders, chest, back, belly, thighs, calves, neck and palms. Her eyes are prismatic and always changing colors with not real fixed color other than silver. Her glowing body's brightness is affected by her mood and health: The higher the emotion, the brighter she is, the lower the emotion, the dimmer. If she's sick, tired or depressed, it'll be low like a candle. Likewise, if she's excited, angry, surprised or in excellent health, she'll glow like the sun. Her body is lithe and thin, though with a gentle pudge on her belly from a personal indulgence in muffins of the chocolate variety. Her hair is long and flows freely past her shoulder blades usually, but she sometimes pulls it back into a ponytail for projects or exploring. Her claws constantly glow as well, hence her name. Her usual attire is most anything black or purple. Dark clothes are her favorite so as to counteract and dim down her constant radiance. She usually doesn't wear any jewelry, as she figures she shines enough as it is.

  • Abilities and Knowledge

    Sowelu chose the element of Light as her favorite due to how pretty it could be under the right circumstances. When she learned about it, she had to undergo a special tattoo process that incorporated the Theban runes that now grace her body. These runes helped to enhance, lock and manipulate the magick that now flows through her body.

    Her primary abilities include, but not limited to:
      - Light Splitting (separating light into the different colors of the spectrum at will)
      - Absorbing light
      - Projecting light in a beam
      - Forming objects or barriers out of light
      - Removing light from a given space (limit is 50 ft away)
      - Bending light around herself or another (though this takes great concentration)
      - Gentle shadow manipulation (in a way)
      - Manipulating her inner light levels from Sun bright to candle dim

    In her travels, Sowelu has learned many things, but her favorites have to be herbalism, dancing and learning Runic alphabets. She knows many different plant species and has even taught herself how to help plants grow using her light magick to feed them. She has a book of different Runic alphabets as well, and loves to play with her own set of hematite and quartz runes to help her with big decisions and paths.

    Her herbalism skills are still in short supply, but she does know how to make Salves, poultices, lotions, teas and various kind of tinctures and decoctions. She also knows the difference between some toxic and non-toxic plants.
