Similar to the Gentry, the good people were said to be next to Heaven at the Fall of the angels into Hell. Some think they are a people expecting salvation.

  Gift List:
  Elemental Control (Fire): Being a rather side one of his gifts, Maithe is as experienced as he has wanted to become with this element of his gifts. He has a natural affinity for controlling fire. With skilled discipline he has been able to manifest flames by way of his hands. He also has the ability to make fire burst forth from a particular object. With consideration for the control of fire he has, he also is able to rise a certain object’s innate temperature.
  
  Pitfalls: Maithe really doesn’t care for this gift. It leaves him exhausted and rather vulnerable. The exhaustion can go to the point of causing him to pass out or faint in the middle of conjuring a manifestation. His passion lays in other gifts, so he has yet to try and minimize the side effects of this gift.
  
  Shapeshifting: This is most assuredly his favorite talent. The halflings’s love for mysticism is often expressed through his ability to shift. He prides himself on being able to flaunt a new form or a more accenting change to his body. Often times he can be found sporting a pair of gray ram’s horns. It is a slight indication that he also has the ability to shift into a ram. Maithe can conjure up a pair of diminutive bat-like wings. There are various other forms that he can take that he has yet to reveal to the public eye. Since he has no current Owner, this gift is more used to please himself.
  
  Pitfalls: Seeing as the often time exotic accents to his form draw unwanted attention, he is given more consideration from potential owners. Physically there is only a vague feeling of nausea when he is returning to his ‘humanoid’ form. His defenses are limited to the form that he chooses. This is rather dangerous considering that he cannot tap into that rather expansive chasm of energies that he would otherwise be able to.
  
  Psychic (Prophecy): Prophecy always involves some kind of communication regarding the future. This is no exception for the lovely Maithe. He has visions, more specifically, that can be almost related to a dream induced stupor. His visions are usually very detailed and of specific information. Of course, it is to be considered that these are not like basic divination. When he has a prophecy, it comes true unless a rash course of action to change said events is taken. It’s not to be confused with an all-encompassing fortune telling power. The manifestations of the future can span from social relations to the basic path of fate. The power of prophecy intrigues him as much as it scares him at times.
  
  Pitfalls: When in the middle of a vision, he is oblivious to the real world about him. It makes him quite vulnerable from means of attack and the bidding of another’s will. It is safe to say that his mind is far away in the moment while his body is still susceptible to damage. Also, depending on the magnitude of the vision, he can fall into a deep slumber shortly after the event.
  
  Psychic (Kinesis): Maithe has the power of psychokinesis, which is also known as telekinesis. This means that he more or less has the ability of his mind to influence matter, time, space, or energy without the use of any currently known type of physical means. This gift is one of his favorites, which allows him to at length influence matter, space, and energy. What he has mastered thus far of this gift ranges from being able to move objects, energies, and alter the form of a single object in space. This is a rather powerful task, one of which he needs to give more attention to rise to his full potential.
  
  Pitfalls: At times, things can go amiss. Every once in awhile he messes up in the execution of what he is trying to do. This is really just a lack of practice. Other than an impending migraine when he stretches his limits, there are very few side effects to this gift.
  
  Mind Control (Invasion): Generally this gift is designed to subvert an individual’s control of his or her own thinking, behavior, emotions, or decisions. It would not appear to be an ability that such an aesthetically seraphic male would have, but no less he is rather talented at controlling another’s mind. The main point of invasion is in those strange optics, which at length and effort, can allow the boy to have the power of suggestion or simply invade another’s mind. However, rather than mere psychological suggestion, he as the power to alter a certain targets desires, goals, motivations, feelings, and actions for a certain amount of time. This is not a long-term invasion upon the mind, rather it is acted out at a specific point in time.
  
  Pitfalls: This gift gives Maithe a glimpse into another’s mind that is a little more in-depth than he wants at time. He can be influenced by empathy at being able to understand and see things from their view. It is a hard task when controlling another’s mind to distinguish their emotions from his. Nonetheless, the boy is rather talented with this gift.
  
  Song: Morbidly, it is only to be expected that along with a near physically perfected body that he be able to influence moods with a soft and eerie voice. The musically airy sound of his singing is suggestive, no matter what type of song he chooses to sing. Be it intentional or not, he can easily bewitch those with his stunning voice and choice of song. Often times, listeners are subjected to soft impressing emotions that mold to the mood or theme of the song he is singing. It is a simple gift that he has a firm hold on. While he can push someone into a grave of despair with his influential singing, he can also easily set a sensual mood. It is hard for anyone with a less than adept psyche to be immune to the boy’s beautifully enriching voice.

  Appearance: Alluring is not an adequate word to describe the encompassing beauty that comprises the manipulative devil. The halfling's body is petite and lean and serves a delicious treat for any wandering eye that should fall upon it. He has slightly plump cheeks that are rounded with a sensual appeal. His high cheek bones frame wide eyes, that are of the most dauntingly mismatched coloration. The beast of a young man has yet to mold into complete masculinity, which has left him as more of an androgynous specter than anything else. Lips of full and pouty petal-pink nature offer nothing more than salacious banter upon an otherwise seemingly innocent visage. His form is petite and mockingly fragile, with arms that are a bit adolescently lanky. His lithe frame is laden with plenty of the grace and eloquence that most of his peers are lacking. Maithe is nothing less than a seemingly angelic beast on a pedestal that is far too high for the means of anything less than nobility.
  
  Predominant Features: His face is the first thing to capture the gaze when objectively taking his small stature into view. His bountiful white curls and equally tempting porcelain flesh are easily beckoning to those of weak willed dispositions. The coal brim of bright white lashes that frame mismatched eyes are just as vying for attention as the swells and dips of his lightly muscled body are. His less than innocent nature is apparent in the acquisition of a rather obvious scar. The raised pink flesh stems from beneath one eye and twists across the delicate bridge of his nose to end beneath his other eye. It is a marring scar that is rather hard to miss. Maithe's ears of cut-throat brutality have caught up with and left him with the jagged marking upon otherwise perfect visage.
  
  Eye Color: Maithe’s eyes are a curiously mismatched concoction that nature saw fit to curse him with. His left eye is a brilliant and vibrant green which is underlined by dark forest colors. His right eye is a pristine aquamarine color, brimming with all the vibrancy of a summer’s beloved ocean. There is no mistaking in the inability to discern which optic holds the most beauty.
  
  When he is suffering from a tantrum of anger, both of those lovely and equally dissimilar eyes turn a matching shade of black. This only happens in a rare state of infuriation, susceptible only when he is in the clutches of a heavy rage. Not many people have has the horrid privilege of seeing him this scathingly upset.
  
  Hair Color and Style: A crown of full white curls tops his head, gingerly accenting already defined features. The wispy tendrils of ivory spookily lap about his face, as if heaven’s clouds curling to accent those faux cherubic features. While the hair closer to his scalp is straighter, the bountiful curls frame his face and nip at the back of his neck. The pristine ivory locks are kept a bit short in the front and messily layered to the tops of round cheeks. The longest point of Maithe’s hair is at the nape of his neck and the rest is cropped in a fashionably short way.
  
  Voice: A musically allusive voice is only fitting for a deviant fiend of seemingly divine descent. Maithe’s voice is warm timbre and soft spoken, serving as a mere tease to lean in closer to him. The lavishing sound of his voice is vacant of any harshness or daunting sexuality. In words and voice the cherubium is provokingly free of corruption. There is plenty of fluidity and decadence to his voice, however flowing and mockingly gentle it is. Insults can be delivered with not a single change in tone or timbre which adds to the infuriating weight of sharp words and harsh wit.
  
  When angered, his voice is often times raised to a delicious height. Unlike when in the clutches of more wanton situations, what was once soft eloquence turns into a hard and distanced reserve. If the mood strikes him the right way, or when dealing with unruly mages below him, there is a dominating undercurrent that demands nothing less than the compliance he deserves. It is to be assumed that Maithe is a sensually submissive person, but when angered a sadistically dominant side flashes from beneath his faux innocence.
  
  Distinguishing Marks: A scar that runs across his face, disrupting what was once beauty. It starts beneath his right eye and travels across the bridge to his left.
  
  Build: Similar to a dancer’s build, Maithe is toned and petite. There are no overbearingly obvious muscles riddling his form. He is light on his feet with eloquent grace and a certain phantom swiftness. While he is lacking complete tone definition, it seems only natural for there to be a slight rounding of curves and lankiness to limbs. With clothes missing he is obviously masculine, but the tad suggesting of androgyny is enough for anyone to admire. The supple attractiveness of his body never falters to bring all kinds of company to his side.
  
  Skin: His skin is of flawless ivory perfection wrought of chilly marble. Planes of perfected porcelain are sans any blemish, oily spot, or unsightly bump. It is safe to say that the young Pan is graced with envy inflicting flesh. Milky satin skin is hard to come by, more so one that every so often holds a delicious blue tint of a bruise or spills blood easily. Silken to the touch and tantalizing to the tastes, the dips and rises that map taintless flesh are all too bewitching. One might even see how others simply love to bruise the canvas of a so distantly enticing boy.
  
  Clothing: As far as his clothing goes, he prefers to be simplistically eloquent. A ladening cacophony of ornaments and frills are something that Maithe finds purely ridiculous and impractical. Without the demand of him to adorn such useless fabrics, he chooses something more favorable to practicality. The boy has an affinity for simplistically rich clothing, showing not only his status of a higher mage, but his apparent wealth due to his services. More often than not, the nymph can be seen sporting clothes gratifying in the means of splendor and comfort.
  
  The most habitual choice of clothing that he has is of fabrics that encase his lust enticing form in the line of robes. An almost mystically eastern influence shows up in his choice of clothing, lavishing in its richness. Uniform colors of an unattainable cream cloak over the majority of his form in two articles of clothing, both of which are equally decadent. The first of which is his outer layer; a collared robe with free flowing sleeves. The top piece flows well to the top of supple thighs, diagonally tied together with three silver clasps. About the neck and sleeves are rich ivory swirls, celestial in appealing coloration. The mockingly flowing swirling designs seem to be hand stitched embroidered in the most intricate of manners. The second article of clothing is matching pants, which tend to pool about shapely ankles. They are void of any true decorations, simplistic beyond the means of expensive fabrics.
  
  Accessories: Beyond the accenting traits of his shape shifting abilities, there are no real accessories to daunt his form. Two twin silver hoops jut through the tender lobe of his ears, whimsical in their basic design. Rather visible ornament hangs about his frail neck with a slight dip. With a small coin pouch tucked away in his robes, he is generally rather free from the heavy prison of multiple accessories. Really, he indulges on minimalism, this even showing as far as the lack of gaudy noble adornments.
  
  Strengths: Mentally, he is a brilliantly capable person. The halfling is often times plenty capable of saying very little, sharp tongue and burning intellect show through from time to time. Physically one would think he has very little strengths beyond his gifts, which is quite true. Maithe is a boy that more or less fights by means of intelligence. He sees little use for violence other than pleasure and inflicting pain. All of his strengths reside in his magical gifts and that rather capable mind. It is dangerous to think of what the distanced young male will be capable of in the years to come. The cherub is perfectly capable of hiding any and every emotion, which he so flawlessly takes up as a necessary habit.
  
  Weaknesses: Physically he is more or less at the bidding of those that can over power him. While he may not be weak, his fragile physical cage does not allow him to put up much of a fight with the Slavers. Not wanting to seek death so soon, he is unable to use his magic to fight an individual off, so what is he to do? He hopes that with his aging, will come a kind of tangible physical power.
  
  MENTAL CHARACTERISTICS
  
  Greatest Fear: Emotional dependency
  
  What Is The Worst Thing That Could Happen: Falling in love or someone trying to rape 'em-- Some soft feline female with gentle caresses would never do for this naughty angel. Maithe is very picky about anyone touching him.
  
  Most ill At Ease When: Someone is trying to touch him. Maithe is a detached and callous individual. It takes time to get to know him and he dislikes being touched in any manner by those he considers unworthy.
  
  Priorities: Staying out of the eye of slavers.
  
  Philosophy: "I will never fall under the spell of hollow grandeur ever again."
  
  How They Feel About Themselves: Maithe is thrilled with himself! He loves every aspect of himself, onto the verge of vanity and narcissism. This is however a lost obsession seeing as he always considers himself not good enough. The boy has such high standards for the world around him, and even higher for himself. His lack of physical prowess drives him to improve on every other aspect of himself that he can.
  
  Past Failures: None that are important.
  
  Outer Personality: An icon of powerful innocence and strong willed naivety, the masochist has a much darker side whirling beneath his façade. To all appearances Maithe is a quiet boy who is as bewitchingly spell binding as he is utterly intangible. The boy’s head is filled with confidence and a superiority complex. He shows to the outside spectator that he is the perfect image of beautiful strength and resilience. Even as a mage, he seeks to over come the bounds of social restraints. Having yet to have a human try and claim him, he is living up the ‘free life’. Always polite to the point of infuriation, he is the perfect symbol of rebellion. While he is untouchable in that sense, there is a dark crave for pain, which might or might not be visible beneath such a beautifully poised exterior. Maithe comes off rather emotionally distanced and rarely interested in anything or anyone. Really, he seems beyond the world of caring.
  
  Inner Personality: Ruthless, Cruel, and Sadistic. Deep down in the depths beneath the angelic shell, there are dark whirling forces amiss. While there are many aspects of the boy that are pure and untainted, it is merely a façade. Maithe tries to resist to succumbing to such urges that he views as weakness, but one thing is to be sure; he is in love with pain. In all forms of the word, he tries to comprehend the feeling and the emotions that it entails. He is a bit obsessive over topics of interest, pain being an ideal as well as religious mysticism. Somewhere inside of him is a passionate figure, however detached and mockingly uncaring he is. It is safe to say that mentally, he is oh so far from the deity of propriety and purity that shows to the world.
  
  Biggest Vulnerability: His physical weaknesses by far is what has to be one of his biggest vulnerabilities. While he loves the tauntingly pure body that he was born with, he curses himself for being so weak. He can defend himself a mediocre amount, he knows that he is no competition to some of the more powerful people out in the vast world about him. That thought alone is quite a scary one. If he were to be subjected to the will of the wrong person, more than the lovely pain that he longs for could be administered.
  
  Outlook: He is slightly pessimistic, though a considerable realist. Maithe sees no point in blinding one’s self with the hope for the best. He tries to look at each situation and think of the most realistic outcome. The small one would like to be an optimist but is really is not possible.
  
  Introvert or Extrovert: Introvert is the safest approximation. While he runs through the motions of what he socially is required to do, he shows no part of his real self. It is all as beautifully posed as one might see a geisha: habitually donning a false mask. This act of playing into what others think he should be adds to his mysterious disposition.
  
  Drives and Motivation: Making a pretty coin.
  
  Talents: All of his talents, beyond his ability to outwit a large number of those around him, lay within his gifts. Perhaps that his innate ability to pick up different aspects of the world around him is stunning. He learns most anything quick, be it an instrument, a new song, a different aspect to one of his gifts, or a new piece of literature. Maithe goes for what he wants with complete passion and devotion, an ideal that is rather rare. He might have a complexity with showing more than apathy in other areas of his life; here he makes up for it with stunning devotion. Beyond that, he’s also a master at getting what he wants by whatever means he needs to utilize. This horrid halfling often at times has to only show a little bit of mock favor to get exactly what he wants, and he is by no means above the task of manipulation. There have been little problems with him receiving what he wants and desires as of yet, and he will keep it that way.
  
  Inabilities: Maithe has a problem with comprehending emotions. While he feels all of these things, it is hard for him to distinguish what something makes him feel or means to him. Unless he is using one of his gifts, he has very little empathy for others about him. The Sightless Eye is mostly to blame for these inabilities, or so he likes to think. It’s easy to see how he can be so cruel some times if one takes into account his lack of emotional comprehension. In truth, he really has an inability with understanding the different sides to emotion and the brutal pain that he desires in whatever form he can get. It isn’t clear if this can be changed by an outside force or not, but it will be interesting to see.
  
  Current Goal/Purpose: To get some new clients.
  
  How Do They React In A Crisis: There is no question as to how he would act if something goes amiss. Considering that his habitual status is somewhat indifferent, it is safe to say that he would be the furthest person from freaking out. Some people work well under pressure and the white haired boy is by far one of such people. With the exception of let’s say, getting a limb hacked off; Maithe would be a reasonable person and try to take the politically best course of action. He would think up a plan of action, more along the lines of the best plain of action, and execute it as effectively as possible.
  
  Hobbies: He loves to swim! Often times he will go find whatever water he can lounge about in, amusingly enough. Maithe also likes singing, reading, writing, and amusing himself with the lesser mages. The angelic male has also been seen walking around the gardens or lounging by fountains. Beautiful nature is where he likes to be, so one could say that it is a hobby of his to seek out natural sanctions.
