• Personality

  Lance is an opportunist. He knows what he wants and tends to have plans on how to get there, but he is also very aware of what’s going on around him and is both able and willing to suddenly change course based on a chance he cannot pass up. From there he readjusts whatever plans he had before. He’s adaptable, flexible and not easily intimidated by setbacks, or easily intimidated at all. Not that the setbacks won't piss him off, but he'll work around them.
  To get the things he wants he is not above manipulation, intimidation, outright violence and dirty lies; if it’s worth fighting for, it’s worth fighting dirty for. Hell, he'll likely outright enjoy the violence and intimidation.
  
  He also uses flirtation and charm when needed, but it’s not a charade he likes to keep up very long and as far as tactics go, it’s just not nearly as fun. Lance likes power and control and enjoys taking it far more than earning it. Knowing someone is doing as he says out of fear is a lot more satisfying to him than knowing the person does it out of affection. Ideally, he wants someone’s full subjugation.
  Still, charm and humor get you pretty far, so if he has to, he’ll play the role diligently.
  It’s safe to say Lance is not a very empathic person at all. People are often seen as tools and the ones that are not might return to that status when he’s eventually bored by them. While he is capable of regretting loss, it’s more comparable to the loss one feels when losing a prized possession than the grief of losing a friend; Lance considers himself above most and as a result of that is rarely capable of viewing someone as an individual, let alone an equal. Killing someone he was attached to in his way won't result in him grieving, it will result in him going after the person responsible, as he perceives it as a personal slight.
  
  All that being said, Lance is not stupid. The first impression of him usually is not that of a man willing to hurt you if you don’t do as he says, nor is it of some sort of casanova; there is no gain in showing his true colors to just any rando in the streets, especially since he wouldn’t like someone much more powerful to pick up on his schemes. He really does not like to be on the receiving end of the misery he’s caused others. He’s a bastard like that. Again: he wants to be the one in control and role reversal makes him outright furious. This means he is also very prone to retaliation. Defeating or otherwise upsetting his schemes is taken personally and you will pay for it, even if it’s through a long con.
  Unless someone is of use to him, he comes across as a fairly normal person, albeit one with a bit of a dark sense of humor and a pretty carefree attitude.
  Not a great guy to bring home to your parents. He is, however, a great guy if you need to get shit done. He’s not too reliable, but if you can offer him something substantial, you’ll likely have his temporary loyalty.

• Abilities

  Being what he is, Lance is blessed with well above average strength and resilience. On top of this he is capable of moving things without touching them and messing about with fire. He can regenerate from pretty insane injuries, though it's certainly neither instant nor painless.

• Background

  For a demon walking the earth, Lance is fairly young. As a proper human he was already not the most pleasant fella around and managed to do quite a few things that guaranteed him a spot in eternal damnation, but he found a way out, back onto earth. Appearancewise he was no different from the young man that died, but his personality had gotten worse in every respect.
  For a while he was rather directionless, faffing about in all corners of the world, but he lacked a goal, something to really drive him. He had all the hedonism he wanted, but he craved something to motivate him at his very core, and thus began Lance's quest to overtake a drugscartel near the city he resided in at the time.

• Appearance

  Lance is a muscular though not overly big young man in his human form with light blond hair, freckles, fairly large brown eyes and an almost feminine sort of prettiness to him. He tends to dress somewhere in between casual formal and a bit of a skater look.
