    Title:Demon of the Forest.
    Although he is not a demon, most consider him as such after seeing him in his feral form. As for how he obtained this title, a human hiking party was attacked by a group of bandits. Since they were held up in the forest Kajou normally patrols, he was able to deal with them quite quickly, till it turned out one of them was a bit more than what met his eyes. The currently leader of that small bandit faction was in fact a demon. So the two clashed and fought, Kajou beating him and tearing him to pieces in his feral form. The humans were thankful but afraid, heading back to the village where the rumors of the "Demon of the forest" began to spread around.
    Thus giving him the title of Demon of the Forest.

    Description: Kajou is a 6ft tall male with long black hair that goes down to his upper back, usually kept in a ponytail to keep it out of his face.

    Personality: This tends to depend on the scenario at hand. Normally he is distant, and can even seem cold at times. But once you get to know him he's quite friendly, though should he be angered instead then you can see just how scary he can be.

    Eye Color: His eyes are the color red, rather unusual to most and it stands out. However his eyes tend to glow at times when in the dark and or in combat. They become brighter when he enters a combative state of mind

    Clothing: Kajou wears a black hooded jacket with an intricate red design that goes up from the sides up to the shoulder plates forming into a symbol in the middle of the upper back of the jacket. The red lines then spread in a line like trail leading to the peak of the hood, two more lines leading down the forearm section of the sleeves. The hood of his jacket is usually up, masking his facial features in shadow apart from his mouth and jaw.

    Below he wears combat pants with plenty of pockets on the side for storage, and hiking boots for his feet which are quite useful when travelling long distances in rough terrain, or jumping to and from buildings. Both his pants and footwear are black.

  • Weapons and Abilities

    Weapons of choice

    Old bow: This is the bow that Kajou has had with him for pretty much forever, there is nothing to special about it, it primarily used for hunting. But it has a lot of sentimental value to him. This is one he acquired from his old mentor back before he had his abilities.

    Naktuyo: A modernized bow that was specially crafted for him by an old friend. This new bow, is colored black and has the same type of red design as his Jacket does, sporting a certain ability known as teleportation. This causes what ever target he focuses on to teleport about a foot from the position he shot from. So if you are hit anywhere with an arrow from this bow, even if it just grazed you, you will be teleported right in front of him.

    Nesuo and Vikari: Kajou's knives which are the same color and design as the Naktuyo. This dual set of knives forged from Veineitium which is a powerful yet magical steel that grants the weapon the ability to cut into stone as well as other blades so long as the person wielding the weapon has enough strength and agility to do so. Both blades are about 10 inches down from the handle, 16 in total if measuring from the bottom of the handle to the tip of the blade. Four inches on the back of the blade near the handle side are serrations which while hinders combat a bit does make the weapon more helpful in survival scenarios.

    Nesuo resides in the left sheathe on the left thigh and Vikari in the right sheathe respectively.

    Dark Aura: An aura the color of darkness, which he has mastered to the point of being able to shape it and control all of its aspects, if he wanted to he could create a weapon out of the stuff! It has the look of a black fog, or black smoke when it comes out of his body.

    Where does it reside?: His aura resides in his soul, having been fused to it long ago when he had first acquired his auras. His soul actually continues to create his aura when the aura stored in his body begins to diminish, this means he will never run out of it, but he cannot over produce it either, it's an automatic process that happens without him doing anything to assist it.


    What can it do?: Kajou's aura has a corrosive effect to it, think of it like a fog of acid, except this acid is able to eat away stone, steel and most other metals and will eat away anything with living flesh. However he can control this aspect of it easily, so if you were to be his friend then you'd find that the aura would not harm you. Yet if you were his enemy or someone he hated, he can either end your life quickly with it, or making it a slow, painful and torturous process.


    Is..is it staring at me..?: Wha? No silly it doesn't have eyes, although his aura is a slightly sentient being. It can and will come out on its own when he is unable to defend himself, taking over and doing all that it can to keep him protected from harm and if he is wounded enough it may go as far as to not let anyone near him regardless of their relationship with him. Think of it like an over protective dog that you don't have to feed or take out to shit.


    Hey! Thats a blade, thats not fair!: And? This is my character, not yours, deal with it.. Yes that is a blade, as stated above he can control all aspects of his aura, whether its making a large dome, suit of armor, or weapons. Yet all of it takes concentration and energy for it to be done effectively. So if he were weakened the state of the weapon or shields would suffer, they'd be weaker and easier to break.


    Wh-why is there a mark on my chest!?: HAH! Well you've just become Kajou's bitch buddy, you shouldn't of pissed him off. This mark known as 'The Mark of Servitude, only placed on the chest and only placed on those he deems deserve it. Does it control your mind? No, you still can think freely, instead it can bind you, harm you, and kill you if he chooses to do so with it, why? The answers is rather obvious, ill give you a few seconds to think about it

    Alright about 20 seconds there, maybe less, guess it yet? Its made of his aura! Other than being used for what was stated above he can also use it to track the wearer down, so if you find this on your chest, don't expect to get away. The last bit about it is that only he can remove it, any attempts from someone other than himself will fail as it will just reform, even changing bodies won't help you as it is bound to the wearers soul.


    I can place it anywhere?: Hmn? Ahh yes, that is a different mark actually, that one would be The Mark of Protection. Its the same design but slightly altered as to look different from the first mark, and yes this one the wearer is given the choice as to where it is placed before it is placed upon them. This mark focuses on protecting the wearer, so the aura it is made out of will try to keep them alive when they are in danger, it can also be used to summon Kajou if needed and like the other he can track the wearer down as to find them quickly.

    Light aura: An aura of light, which he has also mastered to the point of being able to control it and shape it although this is more of a defensive aura rather than a offensive one. This aura has the look of a white fog or sometimes looking like light in a sense, hence the name.



    Where does it reside?: Like the Dark aura, this one also resides inside of the soul, being created and replenished when ever it needs to in the automatic process that we've gone over.



    What does it do?: Ahh this is where its different, instead of a corrosive aura, this one is a healing aura, able to heal almost all wounds, granted there are some that can not be healed due to severity or possibly other unknown effects.



    Why do I feel like this one is sentient too..: That would probably be because it is, when Kajou is injured and again unable to do things himself, it will do all it can to heal his body


    Why..won't..it..BREAK!: Yeaah have fun with that, this aura is a defensive aura, meaning its harder to break and destroy, much harder than the Dark aura inside him. You'd be better of running away, or fighting him honorably


    A-ah! Please..! M-My leg..! C-can you reattach it!?: Sorry bud but no, this is one of the severity issues, he is unable to re-attach limbs, but if your limb is still attached and enough of it is left then he could heal you then. Otherwise you'll need to find another healer!

    Feral state: This is Kajou's feral form, when he undergoes a change and becomes somewhat of a monster or a demon or at least looks the part. His strength, speed and endurance all increase and continue to do so at the cost of his sanity


    Is.. is he changing?: Indeed, when the change begins his aura starts to surround him, his teeth all become sharp and pointed and he forms claws that are sharp enough to pierce steel, so imagine how easily he can tear into your body.


    I-Is it dangerous?: Actually yes, not just for the opponent he is fighting but also for himself. This power comes with a price, his mind. If he stays in this form for to long then his mind will begin to alter and eventually he will lose himself, becoming nothing but a monster that will destroy and attack anything, almost impossible to bring him back from that.


    If its so bad on his mind.. why does he use it..?: He uses it as a last resort but also does it as to train himself to keep it under control when actually using it, mastering this ability will be a great advantage should he actually manage to do so.

    Revival: An ability that he can use himself as much as he needs to, keeping him from dying permanently though he may use it on others at the cost of being in a weakened state for a month or two depending on how many people are revived.

    How does it work?: Well when reviving himself, his soul leaves the body behind which then causes the body to completely decompose and practically become part of the ground in a matter of seconds. The soul will either float its way over to someone he trusts for assistance or it will look for a soulless body on its own. Upon finding the body, it will inhabit it and transform it into his own body thus reviving him. Wounds on the body are healed and the soul will not pick a body that is too damaged.


    So wait, what about reviving other people?: The process is a little different, first he must be able to concentrate. When having already approached the recent dead, he will close his eyes and the outer process will begin. Symbols appear around the ground, his eyes go black and his hands become ethereal so that he can reach through the chest and right at the soul of the recently deceased. Then he will grab the soul and place it within himself for transport, finding a soulless body to undergo the changing process for the new soul to inhabit thus reviving the deceased.


    What if there is more than one, is there a limit to how many he can revive?: There isn't a set limit but he won't do more than twenty at a time because of how draining it is. If he does multiples at one time which requires the use of both his auras to act as other hands to grab the souls, then it takes far more energy than whats used for one person or just himself. Doing more than twenty will more than likely result in him passing out, making him even more vulnerable.
