• Description

  A somber creature if ever there was seen one, yet, so easily overlooked. A female canine of meager stature and build with fur in shades of obsidian her face marked with minor stripes of white in jagged formation a kin to lightning. If one was to stop focusing upon her it would almost seem as though she melded into the shadows. Setting her apart from the shadows she so often lurked were her luminous ivory eyes that seemed almost to glow with energy. Her attire would do little to draw the attention of others, no more then a vagabond at passing glance clad in dark hues similar to herself formed normally of cloth. Pulled up normally over her head a hood to assist in hiding herself from the world around her. A wielder of shadow elements her line of work lead her often to odds with the law.

  General basis:
  The character is based around shadow magic, Umbrakinesis. It is not set in DnD basis. I have been inspired by a variety of sources. The character's powers are powerful but for each perk there is a number of downsides and counters left in place.

  See more

  Shadow Travel - Can use darkness to create portals to travel from one place to the next. Must use shadows at both locations. If intended location of arrival is unavailable will come out at nearest point that is possible, or power level allows. (Power consumption varies on distance traveled)
  
  Shadow Shroud - Can use shadows to cover oneself in darkness to become invisible. (Power consumption based on ambient light levels, see shadow reference image)
  
  Shadow Barrier - Able to use black energy to create barriers to block energy or physical objects, no effect VS mental attacks. (Power consumption based on size, and/or power of object/attack blocked)
  
  Umbrakinetic Constructs - Can use both direct and indirect attacks, utilizing every patch of darkness or shadow available or create tools and weapons as needed. (Ex. Shadow blades, armor, ect.. Power based on complexity of the summoning, and ambient light levels. Provides a constant drain while in use, or undergoing damage/use)
  
  Power Leech - (A very minorability) Ability to siphon energy from various sources depending on setting from energy crystals to machinery. Still a very novice skill and highly liable to backfire. Blocked by insulation and other logical means of barriers.

  (Realism) Distance, mass, precision, etc. depend upon of the knowledge, skill, and strength of the user, and their power's natural limits.
  
  (Light Vs Dark) Light Manipulation and Light Generation are especially effective against the character. Basically any form of light, power or natural. Can be as simple as super bright light from tech.
  
  (Corruption) May become affected/corrupted through extended exposure. Continued use of the power liable to increase corruption or susceptibility to corrupt beings/powers/influence.
  
  (Youth) Character is young, reckless, and far more open to manipulation.

  • This is a fresh character, a fresh profile. There will no doubt be changes as she is fleshed out. If you see any errors, have any inquiry, questions, or concerns, more then welcome to bring them to my attention and I will get back with you ASAP.
  
  • I have 14~ Years of text based free form RP, and minor experience with dice and stat based RP. I do not eat, live and breath thesaurus, some days I am inspired, some I am not. The more I am given to work with the more I can reply to and give you in return for RP. My posts can be flexible in size but if I have committed to a scene with you, I am considerate of your time and do well to keep posts under 1015 min tops unless setting a major scene or intro.
  
  • The character does not have a history or origin set in stone yet, a good chance she does not even entirely remember it right now if asked. So, if you are tickled enough and inspired more then welcome to surprise me, or the character with something from her past.. Or just pull something out of your ass and lie to her. Corrupted? Experiment? Half breed? I am leaving it very open to any number of scenario.
