  Saraid was the former translator for a Corrundian (Birdmen - Aliens), Armerus Pasha during the war in heaven within Verion. Shortly after leaving the planet, Astrakhan and her meeting with the Corrundian Emperor, Ardan the Third Ardanis, King of Ardania she ended up on the Lost Planet.
  
  As a former CCRC soldier she has military training and enough scientific know-how to understand technology. She is from a highly advanced technological civilization but that same civilization is at an average level of technology when considering other races and civilizations within the Verion cluster. Space travel, faster than light travel, lasers, rail-guns, jets, force-fields and other such advanced technological concepts are not above her as she had used these in her every day life prior to coming to the Lost Planet.
  
  Saraid is not an engineer or a scientist and knows only the very basic concepts of her race's advanced technologies. She can't reproduce much of it. Saraid does have advanced military combat and survival training. As a communication officer of the CCRC she knows many languages and is adept at learning new languages even without the use of her telepathy. As a Starset agent she has been extensively trained in the arts of espionage and clandestine warfare.

• Features

  Saraid is exceptionally strong for her small stature. This is due to her being native to a planet with more than three times the gravity of the Lost Planet. Being so compact and so strong lends her exceptional explosive capacity, dexterity, and agility. This has waned ever so slightly as she spends time away from such harsh gravity of her homeworld. She combats the loss of muscle and bone density with strenuous exercise and the rigors of travel while on her quest to get home. She also constantly wears heavy weights.   The Ith have pointed ears like some elf races, broader noses and hips, and only four toes and fingers on each foot or hand. Her eye color varies depending on her mood and emotional state. She is not exceptional as far as her race is concerned and has no unusual physical features when considering that. She is actually fairly common looking, not overly beautiful or ugly. She would be considered the girl next door by others of her race.
  
  The Ith are a peaceful people but they have been hardened by constant war. The incusion of Bomana Prime and the War in Heaven has worn on their otherwise trusting nature to the point that they now find it extremely difficult to trust new species. Pure machine intelligences and races that practice slavery or genetic manipulation are at an extreme disadvantage when trying to win their favor.
  
  As a child of war and Bomana, Saraid is especially distrusting of artificial intelligences. She is even hard on the CCRC's Uirlis Project and the robots that serve along side CCRC soldiers.

  Saraid follows the teachings of the three warden. It is/was a religion the Taistealai or the Ith called the Chailís. Though she has great respect for those who follow An Conair, the path.
  
  Of the two those that follow Chailís are more inclined to physical violence if the need arises. In the last decade the goings on in a star system called Leathbreac and the discovery that the three Chailís were progenitors and not gods rocked the very core of this religion to the point that it almost vanished. Since then the few that have kept the faith and those few religious leaders that remain have restructured the faith on the foundations of logic and reason. Now it can be called a philosophy more so than a religion.
  
  Meditation and martial arts training makes up a large part of her people's lives though any particular Ith will go about these practices differently depending on what philosophy or religion they follow. Kiith social structure, their hierarchy, and their society in general puts great value in the physical and mental aptitude of its citizens.
