Jae is arrogant. There is no other way to put it. Growing up he was a sweet boy who despite being emotionally unavaible in appearance, was extremely thoughtful in his way of being around people. His mother always referred to him as her 'sweet boy' because he had a heart of gold. However, he was heavily corrupted when he joined the industry and all the praise he got went to his head. Being so young when it all happened, he was basically shaped and raised by the company and the industry, and it made him require traits that weren't that nice. As a trainee he required jealousy as a trait, due to having to compete with the people around him, even though he enjoyed their company and wanted to be friends. When the clip of him was released and he gained popularity due to his looks, he became narcissistic and obsessed with the way he presented himself. He would spend hours doing skincare routines, his hair and everything - it was also here that he required the pride trait, as the mentors and teachers and YG let him do what he want. He could arrive late to classes, and they wouldn't say a thing and even joke about it, because they knew they wanted him to debut and he was gonna be their new center figure, so they didn't care whether or not he acted up. After he debuted he calmed down a bit, as he was just a teenager happy to be on stage doing what he loved, but when the medias starting doing the pulls within the skills, about who was most handsome, the best singer, etc he became jealous of his members whenever they were placed higher than him, and he would act out on them giving them a horrible attitude. He was even reported to the entertainment as to have been downright cruel within the dorm, talking down to his hyungs and saying nasty things to everyone. However YG did nothing, and instead they dismembered the band, and let him continue his solo career. As he rose in fame and money, he became gradually verse - it was around this age he started exploring his sexuality, and realized the affect he had on others. Quickly he became a serial dater, going through several kpop idols which all gained major media coverage. He got nicknamed 'Golden player' already at age 19, and on all variety shows he appeared on the MC would tease him about his relationships. However this all stopped when he released a track with a labelmate called 'Baby Don't Stop' in which the choreography was heavily charged with homosexuality. Not yet having confirmed his sexuality, people started asking and he finally stepped out as bisexual, and suddenly none of his scandals mattered anymore, he became a global icon. Now no one could touch him, he could say and do what he wanted, and people didn't care - instead they would praise him for his producing skills, his rapping skills and his over all talent. He became the winner of several MAMA award, as well as gained the triple crown within the comeback stages. However, some underneath there is still the sweet boy, which can be seen in him transferring more than half of his salary to his mother and sisters.

Jae grew up insanely poor. He was the oldest out of three siblings, his mother was always working to provide for them and his father killed himself after Jae's youngest sibling was born. Even though the mother always worked hard to provide for her children, it was never enough and the kids often went to bed hungry as she could only just pay for the rent and half a meal a day. Feeling responsible for his family being the oldest of his siblings and the only male in the house, he started doing things outside of school to provide for the family. He would be deliver things for companys and restaurant, clean offices and much more, to a point where he barerly got any sleep at all because he was always out. Jae was also someone who never really gave two shits about school, because he always wanted to pursue his dancing. However he didn't have the guts to audition for a company, as he feared rejection since he couldn't sing or rap, but just dance. So he stuck to underground dancing. Which eventually was also what gained the entertainments eyes. He was scouted one day doing street performances with his friends, and was brought in for an audition by a scouter. At the audition he was praised highly for his looks and his dancing skills, and within months he found himself being a trainee at YG. He was only 14 at the time, and still he showed insane promise amongst the trainees. Within a year he had perfected singing and rapping, and quickly rose in status within the companys trainees. In an released video featuring him pre-debut, he gained an insane praise for his looks and many in the industry as well as the country anticipated his debut. It happened when he was sixteen, where he debuted in a group called 'FANXY' consisting of him and four five other members. Though the groups performances and concept gained an insane amount of fans and popularity, he instantly stood out. He could not walk outside a door without being swooned, and YG decided that he needed to release solo music on the side. At the age of 18 he was a legend in the industry, everyone adored him and even those older than him talked to him a respectful manner, because he was so liked within the industry. However, this was also where he scandals started piling up. Growing up basically in the spotlight, without everyone adoring him and his talents made him extremely arrogant and high on himself, and already at 18-19 he started dropping formal prounonciations to those older than him, and he hooked up with more people in the business than what people thought was possible. He had some rough years where people started disliking him because of his attitude, but once he released a new song and made a comeback people seemed to forget it, and instead focused on how talented and handsome he was. They also didn't care when the group FANXY broke up, and all of the other members were thrown out of the entertainment. Jae went solo for a couple of years, until 23 when he announced to K-media that he would be debutting with a new and exciting group called 'Crude Play'. It featured him and three other members, one being the producer DEAN. The group was different from other groups, and gained massive popularity instantly. However, the arrogant Jae, didn't play well with one of the members. Jae as the only one didn't live in the dorm, he was also announced as the leader purely based on his popularity and not his leader skills, and he seemed to want to control everything within the group, not caring for the others creativity. However when the member Dean gained a massive following for his producing skills, as well as his dancing skills (which had always been Jae's strongest suit) Jae started treating Dean with little to no respect, putting him down whenever he could. This resulted in Dean leaving the group and the company, however YG and Jae made it out like they dismissed him due to bad behavior, and created nasty rumours about the previous member. This year it was announced that Dean would be replaced by another american-korean, Rhys, a YG trainee.
