personality: He's short tempered and blunt. Can be considered 'full of sass'. Has a case of ugly duckling syndrome, might of recently grown into 'hot dad' status and has no idea. Prefers to be looked over most of the time, doesn't mind being a wallflower. Doesn't like uncertainty. Works better with inanimate objects, his social skills need some maintenance. history: Child of the heavens, not exactly an angel. Made as a way to cure creatures and help them find the path of virtue once more. Humanity stolen from him before he knew what it was, he was born and had parents, but there's more knowledge than just his own rattling around inside his mind. Lifetimes layered together to bring him depth to things, it overwhelmed him growing up. Chased him into orange pill bottles and wards where blue gowns were the fashion, Liam took his time coming to terms with what he is. Inheriting a tourist trap of a Bed and Breakfast in Louisiana, he meant to just stop and stay a few days while communing with nature but instead spent the next decade or so fixing up the place as payment, until the owners passed it on to him. Responsibility is new to him.

His kind are known as Celestials, ethereals, the blessed. They are mortals tasked with heavenly quests, deeds that must be fulfilled before they can leave the mortal plane. Chosen at birth or a fairly young age, an archangel will pick a charge to gift with weapons of above. These weapons take years to develop, train, or even recognize, and some celestials can go decades without realizing they're anything at all. It can become dissociative for some; being something bigger and stronger than what your family is can come off as jarring. Many will want to split from their powers, feel too irresponsible for the destiny thrust upon them. Being one is not a choice, but one can't change their path. Some, like Liam, can be completely non-religious and still retain their strength and powers. He runs off the assumption that the end is near, and that any powers, and religion's deities, will take what they can get. He follows the Oath of Vengeance, but is unaware of this status and the abilities it brings him. relentless avenger: Empowered with speed and the ability to follow evil; can cage them with divine shackles or pens. avenging angel: Become a menacing messenger of the gods, sprouting wings and flight. divine sense: He's more aware of supernatural creatures. With focus, can pinpoint the spooks in a room. unworthy: Demons and bloodsuckers find him repulsive. He's not a threat, but he'll make them uncomfortable to be near nonetheless. healing touch: The obvious. He will take your burdens and pains for himself, mentally or physically. Can only do so much at a time.

voice of god: Voice can carry. If he puts effort, his shout is painful, window breaking, foundation shaking. Able to banish weak willed creatures with this. redemption: Can punt possessions out of their hosts, can help spirits find their way on, cure younger fledglings of their recent change. Any species that changes mortals he can reverse, if caught in time. cleansing touch Removes spells, curses, poisons and filth from others. Can also purge rooms of malevolent spirits and dark energies.

Weaknesses

logical brain doesn't compute complex emotions: The straightforwardness of the heavens is a blessing and a curse. They can't wrap their minds around terrible actions done for a supposedly good cause, a person running for office who has no desire to lead, or using something as a front for their selfish actions.

aging correlates with powers: Can get frozen in time if they do nothing for mankind, but can also burn themselves out within years if they abuse and overuse their abilities. Selfishness can kill.
