• The Legend

  Alkaia was born into a prophecy foretold by her village elders. When her mother gave birth to Alkaia, it was the night the stars aligned into a constellation known by the amazon tribe as "The Paragon." A single child born on the night of this constellation was destined to be blessed by their goddess's strength and willpower. A child born under the stars of the Paragon are destined to become the tribe's champion and guardian, and bore the title named after the stars. The Paragon would grow to become the tribe's strongest warrior, but also be there to usher the village through an ordeal that would put the lives of the tribe in mortal peril. A prophecy created by the goddess to test the strength and will of her followers, shepherding the worthy from the weak into the new age before the next paragon succeeds the old. Many paragons led the tribe through countless generations of strife, guarding the tribe and seeing each generation of worthy warriors to a new life of prosperity. Alkaia was the newest paragon to be born, destined to protect her tribe from their next ordeal.
  
  As Alkaia grew up, the powers of the goddess's blessing became quite clear to the tribe. In her early ages and teens, she had already matched and soon surpassed the tribe's chief huntresses. Through constant training, hunting and harbouring her gift inside her, Alkaia quickly grew into the image of the Paragon that the legends described. She could slay the mightiest beasts and feed her village well with the bounty of meat, strike fear into the hearts of any invader or outsider that dared threaten her tribe, and met no quarrel among the huntresses she could not dominate, whether it be in armed or unarmed combat. However, while she was clearly the most powerful of her tribe, she never allowed this gift to go to her head. She always respected and upheld the traditions of her people. She never attempted to usurp the chieftain with her blessed strength. She recognized her role she played in the tribal society and would want to do nothing but maintain such and see her people thrive thanks to her and the combined efforts of everyone she knew and loved. She was truly recognized as the beloved champion she was destined to be. Of course, when Alkaia matured, this would lead to the great strife the tribe would face and the event that would test Alkaia's strength and will as the protector and champion of her tribe. However, what she was faced was something she had never truly anticipated.
  
  A darkness swept the land, beckoning the rise of an evil force that planned to dominate the world under its heel. A dark conqueror that wielded powerful magic took foothold in the land and threatened all that it could reach, including the amazon tribe. At first, the land was met with fire and blood as armies of the dark conqueror marched through the land, slaughtering hundreds of innocent lives and razing settlements, kingdoms, and anywhere that did not kneel to the conqueror's will. The amazon tribe was caught in the flames of war, but the amazon warriors, along with their Paragon, fought back against the encroaching hordes and managed to push the tide of darkness back away from their forests. Seeing the amazons as not only a threat, but a band of warriors powerful enough to hold back against his might, the conqueror saw an opportunity to strengthen himself. While the invasion of this dark force was an ordeal, it was not the true strife the village would face.
  
  One day, dark magic swept over the village. Alkaia had awoken that night to a horrific sight. The huntresses and warriors of the tribe began a slaughter, consumed by a hysterical fervor that plagued their minds. The dark conqueror sowed the seeds of corruption into the village, turning their warriors against the amazons of the village. Those who could not best the village's warriors and huntresses were slaughtered mercilessly. All the minds of the warriors had bent to the dark forces of the conqueror, all except for Alkaia. Thanks to the blessed powers granted to her by the goddess, she had an unbreakable will and untainted mind. However, the goddess was not with the amazons on that day. Alkaia raised her axe against her own sisters of battle, but it was already too late. Those who had not already fallen to the Paragon's might had fled and all those who were unchanged by the dark magic were slain. Elders, villagers and children alike were met with an unjust, bloody fate and Alkaia stood in the middle of it all. Dread and guilt flooded the blessed champion as she looked around the burning rubble that was once her village, and soon the rage of vengeance filled every fiber in her powerful being.
  
  Destined to save her people, she knew that there were still those of her tribe that remained. She was not going to fail her sacred duty. She set off for the heart of the dark conqueror's power, the very fortress it held itself in, taking an oath to enact bloody vengeance for her people upon that wicked being and free her people from the monster's dark control. Whether it be free of mind, body or spirit, she had no choice. One way or another, there would be a grave price to pay for this treachery and above all else, she had to set her people free...

  Alkaia is an amazon warrior, but not an ordinary one of her tribe. Blessed by birth, believed to have been granted a fated power from the tribe's goddess of worship herself, Alkaia is known as the "Paragon". An ideal warrior with an unbreakable will and strength beyond comprehension. Because of this, Alkaia towers over every warrior in her tribe. Her body can be described as nothing but muscle, every inch of her body displaying the strength and power granted to her comparative to that of a god. While powerful and hulking, she is also beautiful. Her skin is fair and complexion is clean and smooth. For a woman of her stature, she has softer features than one might expect. Her hair is blonde, wavy and flourishing. Bleach blonde locks layered and draped down her back, adorned with two black feathers as an accessory attached to a gold headband.
  
  As a champion of the goddess, her fate is predetermined. Therefore, Alkaia worries not for armour. Alkaia only wears a bikini adorned with metal scales and hemmed with red cloth. She also wears black leather gloves accented with red and gold, iron greaves and a decorative gold armband. Other than that, she is nearly naked. Her powerful body on display, as well as tattoos that wrap around both her thighs. The tattoos are runes that act as a symbol of Alkaia's paragon status, as it is tradition for each paragon in the tribe's history to decorate their body in such tattoos.
