OOC Notes

• Introduction

  Finally - getting around to writing this.
  I don't require you read my OOC notes, but I would strongly suggest it as the sole purpose of this page is to help you familiarize yourself with what I am seeking as a player and how I roll.
  
  Unlike my character, I'm a very nice, extremely easy-going, and a patient, decent person.
  It seems after years of RPing, my characters have become varied from chivalrous to vile; and with time and the need for refreshing, interesting play I have created Akuma.
  
  Roleplaying is an escape for all of us, a chance to visit other worlds and experience whatever the hell we choose to experience, and where I could be defined as a laid-back, non-violent, non-spiteful stoner with spiritual, Buddhism-influenced beliefs in real life; I can play a motherfuckin' legendary eight headed snake/Devil with total reckless abandon in the fiction of roleplaying.
  
  That being said, please separate IC from OOC.
  While Akuma would enjoy nothing more than to wreak havoc and suffering amidst the mortal realm, and although admittedly, I think that could be fun too - I'm just another measly, average person who can only hope to in fantasy - not as a human, but as a manipulative bastard. That's just how it is.
  I know it can be frustrating, especially for persona players, or people who are closely in tune with their characters - to remain unbiased in regards to roleplay. It's even harder when my character is so easy to hate.
  I felt like fulfilling a role, the villain. I welcome and encourage hatred towards Akuma, but it won't work with me - I'm just too lovable.
  
  As an OOC player, I am trustworthy and a loyal friend, if you'd like me to be.
  I have no interest in terrorizing the lives of others as my character does, so if you ever just needed advice, someone to talk to, etc - you are welcome to, without fear of me divulging anything.
  I will avoid OOC drama like the plague, and part of the success of this approach is from not talking shit, or getting involved with any of that.
  Keep the drama clear, and we should be good to go.
  I'm very personal. I choose to withhold information about myself, such as my name, gender, location, etc. I enjoy the anonymity of the internet and feel that none of this matters when concerning roleplay. I also don't feel any desire to know about others, unless out of sheer curiosity or if they feel comfortable with me in that way. I believe the stereotypes and characteristics associate with gender is a form of sexism and think its best to keep the play unbiased.
  If I do happen to reveal anything about my life to you, it only means that I feel comfortable with you and consider you a potential friend - if this breaches your boundaries, just let me know. I don't assume things, I'm very literal and blunt so I won't know anything unless you tell me.
  
  If there is ever a problem you have, I am a firm believer in communication and feel the best way to resolve something is to discuss it. I won't get mad or attack you, so relax. Just be straight and I will do the same - so if I do for whatever reason deny you RP please respect that.
  
  I think that sums it up! All that's left I feel is pretty much common sense - No killing my character without consent, If you have to leave in the middle of RP let me know, - if you aren't very literate, don't RP well because your ability to right isn't so good - I probably won't want to RP with you. However, I encourage RPing for everyone, so if this is the case don't be shy to ask for help - I have no problem helping you - although my grammar isn't the best, I'm still learning - and would appreciate any helpful tips or criticism.
