  Early History:
  Dimitrij Jansons: Born November 18th, 1979 in Ludza, Latvia to Anna Jansons and Vladislav Jansons. Vladislav disappears in January of 1981. Anna begins a relationship with Maskis Ivanov in March of 1981. Anna becomes pregnant in May of 1981, and despite protests from Maskis, who pushed for an abortion, gave birth to Niklajs on Feb 8th, 1982. After continued protests from Maskis to put Niklajs up for adoption, Anna broke the relationship and filed a restraining order on him. Anna, Dimitrij, and Niklajs spend the following decade uneventfully. During this time, Dimitrij and Nik embark on adventures in the neighborhood, getting into mischief. Dimitrij does fairly well in school, though he struggles in Math.
  December 1991: Maskis' restraining order expires. Maskis had married Adriāna Sīle earlier that year, and had attempted to reproduce during this time. Days after the restraining order expires, Maskis breaks into the Jansons household and attempts to murder Niklajs via suffocation with a pillow while he sleeps. Dimitrij hears the ensuing struggle and attacks Maskis, stabbing him multiple times with a pocket knife. Niklajs escaped to his mother, who called the police. Maskis died en route to the hospital.
  An investigation on the murder was performed, with Dimitrij quickly found to be innocent and labeled a local hero. This however did not set Adriana at ease, who was seeking justice for her late husband. Later in the week, she kidnapped Dimitrij from school and forced herself upon him, raping him and becoming impregnated, while also later finding out she had become pregnant from Maskis on the evening before his death. She allowed Dimitrij to escape, who was later found hiding in his neighbor's shed.
  Dimitrij would not speak of what happened, and any investigation was cut short. Dimitrij and Niklajs would become very close to one another, with Dimitrij being very protective over his half-brother. His grades would slip shortly after both incidents, but would ultimately recover by the end of the school year, with math continuing to be his weak point.
  1995: Upon returning home from school, Dimitrij found his mother at the kitchen table with a pair of humans and a pair of canine anthros, who had selected Dimitrij for training in a Russian espionage organization. Without any alternatives, Dimitrij agreed to be taken away.
