• A bit of backstory

  The Summon
  At a little known witch guild, hidden away in a gravity defying cavern a summon was performed. Yarn balls, milk and several other cat related objects littered a room and a deal was made. "He's yours, but if you decide he's not I'll free him. He'll wander the world for eternity looking for a master." That was the agreement. When the ritual was complete, a feline-esque figure sat in the middle of the objects, mewling for attention. Before the very eyes of its summoner, the creature took human form, deciding it was comfortable in this shape. This brought Artemis into this world, however he was bound by contract to never leave his owners possession. Until..
  A deal is struck
  Artemis' original owner fell gravely ill and it was clear they could no longer perform their duties. It was then that a decision was made. Artemis would take their place at this magical little academy, and it wasn't long after that they passed. Artemis served his master to the grave, and before they passed they granted him free will.
  A new chapter
  Artemis worked as an instructor and head office member for several hundred years before deciding he had enough. He left in the middle of the night with his favorite clothes and storage object, a queer little cube of light green color that would allow a user to store any item inside, alive or not. Artemis then left, and journeyed the world.
  
  This being the most recent activity in his life, Artemis is new to the outside world. He hopes to learn new and amazing things!

• More Information

  • Abilities: Artemis is proficient in hundreds of forms of magic, but due to ancient law he's forbidden to use any of these things away from the Guild he was summoned at. To circumvent this he wears a talisman that has a chunk of stone from the very cave the guild is inside of that allows him to perform low level magics.
  • Interests: He's interested in learning what he can about the mortal plane of existence. He finds humans to be fascinating, and loves watching and learning from them. Despite this curiosity he knows to keep his distance (Most of the time).
  • Places he's been: France, Africa, and Tokyo (briefly); He often doesn't talk about his trip to Tokyo despite it having happened. Granted familiars are a common site, the occasional oddball freaks out over "Humans" with animal ears.

• Likes and Dislikes

  • Likes: Cuddles, physical contact, hugs, candy (he's always snacking..!), treats, head pats, magic, traveling, learning, practicing advanced magic to impress his friends and acquaintances.
  • Dislikes: Artemis dislikes angry people and wishes everyone was more true of their emotions. He hates destructive magic but acknowledges it as having a place in the world to balance things out. Health food, exercise, excessive time outside, being awake too long. If you wanna know just ask him, he's open minded and open mouthed.
