Samson Carrington is born to a australian-korean mother and a caucasian australian father. His father was not the best individual in his early childhood, having several problems with alcohol and temper, and for the majority of his toddler years he only saw his father in two scenarios: passed out on the couch drunk or never home. Eventually one day out of nowhere, his father packed his bags and never returned. Samson and his mother was left alone to fend for themselves, and his mother worked her ass off trying to feed them both and have a roof over their head. When Samson was 4, his mother met an Australian born korean man, and the two of them fell in love instantly. Only a year after Samson was gifted with a little brother, Parker. Only a year after Parker, their little sister Olive was born. Growing up Samson adored his siblings, as he always have - he took his hyung role very seriously, but he also struggled a lot. They grew up in a dominant korean area of Australia, and he was very much aware of the fact that he was biracial and had features of a caucasian. His classmates would point it out and make fun of him for him, and refer to him as 'porcelain' because he had a whiter complexion than others. At the same time his brother Parker, was an individual who excelled in everything - rap, music, producing, anything the kid put his hands on would turn out amazing. This made Samson fall into the back growing up, and he lost his will to do music or anything related to that industry, because he thought he could never do as well as his little brother, nor did he want to. Samson found other interests, and started collecting uncommon objects, such as vintage toys, music boxes that was from over a century ago. He also started losing interest in school, and dropped out of high school at 16, to pursue the not so great career of bartending. He's not one who has got his life under control, nor does he particularly care - he is used to hearing his mother scold him for not chosing the career that is perfect for him, but he does not care at this point. His routine is bartending, eating, going to sleep and repeat. That's all it is. In many ways he has developed a state of mind in his life, where he believes he is below his siblings and therefor he has built himself a life that fits that state of mind. Samson also does not get along with his stepfather, aka the father of his siblings, as the stepfather thinks he is a lazy prick who is a bad influence on his kids. Because of this Samson doesn't see his siblings or his mother as much as he would have liked. He didn't even know Parker was sick with cancer until it was terminal, and he had to go to the hospital to see his brother weak in bed and have his heart broken. Parkers death was particular hard on him, and his love for alcohol has progressively grown worse since then, and he is almost always passed out somewhere.
