Olive has never been like the other girls. Ever since she was little, she didn't like anything that was targetted towards her gender, she hated dresses, pink, barbie dolls and everything in between. It would take a nightmare for her parents to dress her up fancy when she was little, as she would always start screaming if they tried to put her in pink/purple shades of color, og dresses and skirts. Bows was also an absolute no-no. She had a love for everything that her brothers had access too, motor toys, blues and green shades, pants, grafic t-shirts - it was the thing she felt the most comfortable in.
Growing up she also preferred the company of boys rather than girls, as she found girls rather difficult to be around - they felt it was necessary to do their hair and makeup, wanted to go shopping and cared way to much about crushes. She could not be more unbothered by those things. That doesn't mean she didn't struggle though, because she did. Around the time she started hitting puberty, her male company started gaining interest in all things feminine, and she found herself excluded from their conversations as she didn't really get it. Their talks about breasts, butts and so much more about the female sex was so not a conversation she could follow along in. She also started to get bullied by the female students at her school, because she didn't dress like everyone else and looked like a walking talking recycle store majority of the time, and rarely did her hair.
For several years in her teenage years, she didn't really know where her place was and felt outcastet. However eventually she found herself. Since then Olive has been a confident young girl, who does not give zero fucks about other peoples opinions about her. She lives in 'the now' and does not care about the past or tomorrow, none of it touches her. Olive is also an insanely talented young woman, who is incredibly skilled in both dance, singing and rapping as well as producing - she was scouted at her talent school when she was only 16, and signed a contract that at the end of her training at the school she would became a trainee at SM Entertainment. This was a huge deal, as barerly anyone at the school gets scouted before their senior year, let alone in their sophomore year. However, she isn't arrogant about this at all - she rarely ever talks about her musical abilities, except when she actually does the thing and amazes everyone.
Olly isn't just all that, she is also someone who handles emotionally distress and trauma extremely well, and she is completely capable of overcoming any kind of sadness fast, and deal with others pain quickly after having healed her own. This quality in her makes her at times appear light years ahead of her age, as it shows an old empathic quality in her, that usually is only to be found in older people. It's a rather strange mixture for some people to see this part of her personality blend with the youthful side of her, as there is an incredible contrast between the two. But it also calms down the wild untamed side of her, and makes her a beautiful mixture of youth and wisdom.

Being the youngest member of the Carrington family, she was very much considered the baby of the family from the minute she was born. There was a world of difference between the treatment of her and Sam. As soon as Olly started crawling and having an opinion, she started to act out towards anything feminine. She would scream and kick if her parents tried to dress her in feminine colors and dresses, as well as bows. For a long time her parents were convinced that perhaps their daughter would be somebody who would want change gender, as she didn't seem comfortable with feminity at all. However, that was never the case. Growing up Olly was extremely close with her brothers Parker and Sam. Only a year apart from Parker, the two shared clothes and everything else, and practically acted like they were twins - they even got matching tattoos in their teenagehood. However her relationship with her oldest brother has always been the most unique, as there is an uniqueness to them both and a bond they share over that. They both have an oddness to them that seperates them from the normanity, and they have always bonded over that. He also didn't treat her like a baby, and brought her along to the things he did, whether it was bars, drinking or just sneaking out at night. Her father, his stepdad, did not like this and thought Sam was a bad influence. So they kicked him out of the house, gave him a sum of money and told him to take care of himself, and that he wasn't welcome in the house or near Olly until he figured his life out. Of course, Olly who never cared for the rules, didn't listen to that and saw her brother in secret. At sixteen Olly was scouted at her talent school by SM Entertainment, and signed a contract that stated she would become a trainee at the end of her idol-training in the school. Nobody actually knows this except Parker and her mother, as she doesn't want to show off. She doesn't like to be labelled as the special one. But of course these news made her estatic, but that was soon changed when her brother Parker passed away to cancer. This changed Olly a lot - her before very childish ways, was replaced with someone who suddenly was very good at taking things seriously when needed to, and she acted very mature for her age. She also started gaining friendships of the older age, and she didn't find things in common with the ones of her own age.
