APPEARANCE
With sulfur yellow eyes and taut flax-colored skin, blemished with horned, crimson carapaces, Makuub looks more like a demon spawned from hell than an extraterrestrial alien. He comes from an infamous mix-blood tribe of Yautja, known for breeding elite warriors. He carries himself with an above average intelligence, combined with the apex muscularity of a super predator. At just over 7 feet tall, his body has less muscle mass compared to the bulkier super predator, but is more athletically defined than the species' standard.
The red carapaces jutting along the ridges of his skull are also spread throughout his body, mainly around joint spaces like his knees and elbows. While this can serve as natural armor, in Yautja culture, they're classified as genetic defects. His mandibles are more prominent than typical Yautja. Makuub's bite strength is known to shatter ooman helmets, with dagger-like sharp teeth that can decapitate skulls.
EQUIPMENT
Makuub prefers to wear a half-masked respirator opposed to the regular Yautja helmet. It does not provide an interface with multiple optic cycles or language recording and interpreting software. Its primary function is to provide breathing support in hostile climates, and does so in spades. The mask is equipped with an advanced recycling and air filterate system. This allows Makuub to function at his highest activity level; A lower functioning respirator unit can force the user to over exert themselves and decrease stamina, significantly.
Should he choose to wear a helmet, Makuub will dawn a ceremonial mask used by his tribesmen. It is crafted by the bones of face huggers, reinforced with durable alloys. The interface tech is limited to communications and ocular protection from the elements. This is worn in tandem with the half-mask. Its narrow design towards the chin allows for his lower mandibles to be exposed, a staple look of his tribesmen. The sharp finger-like extensions at the crown are perfectly sculpted to fit in between Makuub's ridged skull.
The tribal aesthetic of his ancestors live on through his warrior armor. It is minimally light but incredibly durable, covering the shoulders, groin, and shins. The intricately crafted shoulder and waist guards are held together by ornamental skull pieces. The shin guards have a wide-brimmed flap, providing extra room for alloy mesh padding.
A giant long ax is his primary weapon. The blade and pike resemble a scythe, which is profoundly coincidental to the fact that he worships the Yautja equivalent of the Grim Reaper. He also carries two hatchet-like small axes that have the same technological capabilities as a Smart Disc. This means they have computer-controlled gyros, allowing them to return to the wielder when thrown. The long ax can also return to him, but that is because it is magnetically tethered to his wrist gauntlet.
The wrist gauntlet on his left arm is the most advanced piece of equipment on his person. Stocked with the standard cloaking, self-destruction, and dual wrist blades of your typical hunter gauntlet, Makuub's has a retractable shield that can deflect all sorts of projectiles. The shield forms a diamond shape that can cover half of his body, with sharp edges that help go from defense to offense. War Hound collars are directly linked to this gauntlet, which monitors them at all times.
