  Cassidy's alternate form happens to be a tan/orange border collie - a dog perfect for cow herding.
  
  He was born with this gift, his father carried the gene and one or two of his siblings. They were the lucky few who would go out and herd cattle when conditions weren't ideal enough for the horses...which meant Cassidy was left biting at steer's ankles in weather hot enough to roast a man, cold enough to give him hypothermia, and rains torrential enough to create flash floods.
  
  There are some catches - He has to be a) naked and b) on all fours when he shifts into his furry form. It can get rather awkward when there's other around, he doesn't shift in front of people often. The longest he's been able to stay as a dog was a whole day n' a half, eventually his energy runs out and he goes back to human size, usually exhausted.

  Cassidy has always just been a sweet soul. Friendly and caring, often putting himself before others, which sometimes backfires and he forgets to take care of himself. He's got balls of steel, physically and metaphorically I mean riding a bucking bronc is not an easy feat. He loves being around people but loves his animals more, most people scoff when he gushes about how cute cows are. Very humble, first encounter you'd never know he was a rodeo star a few years back, you'd only know of his trophies and buckles if you asked. Highly obedient, finds it extremely hard to refuse or say no. He'll do anything you say if he trusts you, he doesn't care if it's illegal or morally insensitive... Kind of a pushover, but he doesn't quite realize it. He's got some country sass in him, cracking jokes and making almost every situation light hearted and comedic with his weird slang and accent. He can get clingy, but not everyone finds that bad since he's so fun to be around. Definitely got a tough skin, it's hard to get on his nerves or hit a sensitive topic with him. His work ethic is amazing, he gets shit done and does it well. There's no half-assing with this cowboy. Comes off as a bit of an idiot because he takes things way too literally...
