Abilities:

-Can shift between all foxes within the Lycalopex Genus to adapt to his circumstances and surroundings. Each fox form has different abilities, effects, and physical appearances which include attire, fur patterns/colors/length, height and body build.

-Can tap into a inner force of energy called "Mana" to boost his physical output and abilities to further limits, varying on the Fox Species he is currently in

-Can use an ability called "Shadow Boost." This allows him to greatly boost the senses of himself or others, physical output and other abilities to or beyond his boosting limits. Each species has a different take and effect with this ability. It also adds the effect of darkness to his body or attacks.

-Can utilize the power of darkness. He can manipulate shadows and convert his mana to generate darkness from his body to use as a ranged weapon or energy attack. He wears a special glove on his right paw to further tune his control over the darkness to give it better form, shape and manipulation. (i.e. generate swords, create silhouettes, etc.)

A fox born from the process of cross breeding 6 species of foxes that belong to the Lycalopex Genus, Jayvyn was involved in part of an experiment to revive the original Lycalopex Fox at its prime before it evolved and diversed into the current Lycalopex Genus species we know of today just like his Vulpes counterpart Levi.

When he finally became an adult, the appropriate age to handle the genetic alteration experiment, he discovered that his siblings that went before him were classified as failed specimens and were either disposed of or undergoing worse experiments than the initial one. The shock of this new bound information caused him to rebel and go on a rampage. Unfortunately, by force they managed to get him to undergo the experiment. The alterations gave him the ability to shift to a species of fox that was passed down to him from his bloodline but like the rest of his siblings, the experiment resulted in unsatisfactory results due to him being 2/7ths Hoary Fox and 1/7th of the remaining 5 species instead of being equally 1/6th of every lycalopex species in his DNA. With that it was decided to put Jayvyn through the same process.

The remaining members of his family including Jayvyn himself, that have not been disposed of were left subject to other experiments to see what their limits could be pushed to. As time went by his hatred and pain gradually continued to grow as his family suffered. The moment his last member of his family passed was the moment he blew. That moment pushed his abilities beyond his normal means and resulted in manifesting the darkness. With his new found power he used it to destroy the facility and those who ran it. With his prison now devestated, he now roams free to live his life how he chooses.
