the smoke was thick, but it smelled tantalizing. the place was nice, but it was ominous, too; like somethin' bad happened, but no finger was ever placed on it -- like somethin' bad still happens, but maybe people choose not to see it; they don't wanna see it.
everybody smiles here; and aside from that little bit of something -- it's real swell here. the atmosphere is welcoming. it's fresh -- and the air smells sweet. real floral, kinda dank -- but it's not skunky, though. you know, it's just right. there's posters, nice decor. it doesn't look too shabby -- kinda real put together on the surface, despite the people who work here lookin' a little. . . off sometimes?
(it's just the weed, though, right?)
there's only quality products sold here -- with a few wares for the humble, or the broke; or the beginner. staff is pretty friendly -- owner's never seen, though. there's an actual lab in the back; buddy's does their own cultivation and gene splicing.
on a cute, hand-drawn calendar on the wall by the register -- there's events. they run horticulture classes for the genius; game night for the wily; and even poetry slams for the writer. there's some nice tables set up in the open space in the front; and even some outside. it's a cool place really -- and if you can get past that whateverthefuck it is, you might actually wanna stay awhile.
