Background: Daphne's story is honestly kind of complicated, but to begin with her story from the beginning to now, she was born into a family of three, which was her mother, father, and big sister in Busan, South Korea. They were a rich family living in a big house, and they had basically everything. Her parents always made sure that their daughters had everything they needed, and much much more. Though Daphne's relationship with her parents wasn't as great as the relationship she had with her big sister. The two girls played together all the time, and never wanted it to stop. It was paradise for them to run around in the garden, and if they were in the mood, they would bring something disgusting inside the house to surprise and tease their parents. It resulted in them being punished, but neither of them cared at all. They just wanted to enjoy their childhood, where nothing stood in their way. This also meant that they both came into expensive and good schools, their parents making sure they got the best of education as possible. Though when Daphne was around twelve years old, things began to chance in the family. Her sister no longer wished to play with her like before, she changed her style, her way of speaking, and she focused on school constantly to become the top student. That was something the younger girl didn't care about, but clearly her sister did. Or rather, her parents did, because it was her parents who had guided their oldest daughter to change in behavior, the exuse being that she was now getting older, and therefore needed to begin to take responsibility, and get better in every way possible, that being looks-wise, school-wise, and in general every way she could. In the beginning Daphne tried to meet her parents' standards as well, since she wanted to make them proud and happy, and followed her sister's footsteps. She even quit dancing and rapping which was something she had gotten into learning, and her parents didn't think she would take it as seriously as she had, and they wanted her to quit because apparently they didn't find it appropriate with the future they had waiting for her. For a short period of time she made it work, behaving like her parents wanted her to, the distance to her sister, not rapping or dancing anymore, but it only became worse when her beauty was discovered only at age sixteen, and so she became a model who grew in the business quickly. She knew exactly how to play with the camera, and honestly, she loved being the centre of attention, and loved that she was being appreciated for her looks. But then why did it become worse? Well, because this made her parents eager to see their youngest child succeed in the modeling career, and they kept asking her to keep going, work harder, remember what you eat, don't eat that, don't eat this. 'Do anything to get more beautiful, that is the only way you can succeed, to get more attention', they had said. Constantly hearing these types of words, not only from her parents but also from some people she worked with whenever she was at a photo shoot, made her take them way too seriously, and so she actually started eating less and less, until she almost didn't eat anything at all, and when she chose to eat something, it was often that she couldn't keep it down, and she ended up throwing it up again. It was not something she had seen coming, since it came quite sudden to her, realising that she had an eating disorder, and had let herself become pressured by the people around her. Her big sister noticed the change, and finally searched for a long lost connection between them, as she had chosen to create distance between the two siblings, but every time Daphne said that she was fine, and didn't know what she was talking about. It was first when she was doing a photo shoot, and one of the female crew members who she had come to know a little through time, said that she had given them exactly what they wanted: She looked sick, like a skeleton. Congratulations. You bowed to the pressure. It was then that she realised what she was doing to herself, and therefore decided to get some professional help which this female crew member helped her with, but it wasn't a family member. Her mother and father had said nothing to it, they had just let it all happen, and therefore she decided that she had to get away from them as soon as possible. Parents were supposed to love you and support you unconditionally, not drive you into the ground until there was nothing but darkness around you, and that was how Daphne felt. She had fallen into this pitch black hole, where she had tortured herself because she wanted to please others, but that was no longer how it was going to be. It took a while before she got better with the help of a psychologist, and she then chose not to work as a model anymore. She simply put it behind her, just like her life in Korea entirely when the family had to move because of a change in her father's work. Now living in America, she changed personality quite a lot, but only to the person she truly was. For such a long time she had tried to meet her parents' and everyone else's expectations, done what they wanted her to do, but after experiencing everything that she had, she began rapping and dancing again, and of course her parents weren't very happy with this, but she didn't care. This made the cleft between them even deeper than before, because now she was not following their orders. They kept saying things like they wanted her to be more like her big sister, and of course all of that hurt, but she couldn't be like that. It had been horrible to go through, and she was now determined to make herself happy, and not depend on anyone. So she started on the university and left her family behind in the big and fancy mansion, to make a life of her own in the dorm where she found friends, including friends who were into singing and rapping, and together they created a small unit, so they could make underground peformances of their own songs. Daphne found a love in song writing, and so together with her friends in the small group, they created their own songs and peformed them for whoever wanted to listen to them. This young woman also made sure to make dance choreographies for the different songs, which meant they weren't just singing and rapping, but also dancing, and she would have her own solo peformances, where she was showing off her amazing rapping and dancing skills. That is what she is known for today, including the frase 'tounge technology', meaning that she has sick tounge technology, and therefore can rap really fast and complex beats. Her dance moves are usually very alluring, and carries deep charisma. Basically she can make everyone scream when they see her move on stage, and she loves it, just like she loved being in front of a camera when she started her modeling career. Now it was just without all of the toxic overshadowing that pleasure, and instead she was able to be happy, though at this point, she had no more contact with her parents or big sister. Sometimes they would say, that when she was ready to get back on track, they would take her in with open arms, but she knew the consequences of making that choice. Now she had stepped into a life that she loved, able to keep her dream alive, peform and rehearse, as well as spend time with her friends, and study to stay in shape when it came to university. But that wasn't all: Because the small group became more and more popular for their talent, and a spot as a radio host at the university radio was open, she was accepted as a radio host when she applied. It was something she wanted to explore, as well as she needed to earn some kind of money, since she could no longer depend on her parents in that area. Soon she found out how much she loved that as well, and after having had the job for a while, she was allowed to play some of her groups' songs in the radio. Basically, she was living her life busy, but just like she wanted to, and no one were allowed to take that away from her.





Personality: Daphne went a lot forth and back in her personality through the years. When she was just a kid and playing with her sister, she didn't care about anything at all, just enjoyed life, and did what she wanted with it, but after everything changed with her big sister and parents, she turned into this little innocent and sweet girl, who just followed orders whenever she had told, and totally lost all of her confidence. It was very sad to see how she turned from a cheerful and happy girl, to a sad and way too skinny person with no confidence. But after realising what a wrong path she had chosen to follow, she decided to change her life, and she succeeded in getting her confidence back, but much more than just that. It was almost like she had become a whole new person, someone who didn't care about the outside world. Not that she was selfish or arrogant, for example her friends in the small underground group means a lot for her, and she would do anything for them, but in the sense that someone could say she was ugly, and she would give that person a snarky comment and then leave. She decided to focus on her happiness, and that could make her a bit scared to take bigger steps sometimes, and let new people in. If you want her, you have to earn her, and that could be difficult to do, because her standards were high. Though it was because she had been used before, experienced how people around her wanted to change her, saying she wasn't good enough, and so she wanted to make sure, that the person she was with, was someone who truly appreciated her, and didn't think of being with another woman, when being with her. Calling her savage and blunt would be absolutely right, because that she indeed is. She is not afraid to use foul language, and won't hesitate to cuss you out if you push her buttons. This can seem overwhelming to some people, but that is simply just how she is, and therefore you could also say that she was honest. If she didn't want to be with someone, she would say it, and not just play the person and spend time with them even though it wasn't in her interest. She saw no need to draw stuff like that out, because she wouldn't want that done to herself. Her friendships are very dear to her because of what happened between her and her family. But only the one's deserving of her love will get it, since she will no longer spend time on people who only make her feel bad. An example of the softer side of her, she does not only have that sexy kind of smile, but also a sweet smile, showing that she has several different sides to her. She enjoys having fun and laughing, and rather wants to smile than cry, which means she'll often push the darker subjects aside to be able to smile again. A bad way of dealing with your problems, but it was just a part of her, and she probably needs someone who can tell her to stop doing that, and do things in a different way instead. She is a really sweet person who cares a lot, but at the same time has this savage side to her, and isn't afraid to say anything back, and sometimes people are surprised that she is both, and hasn't adventured out on a dark path, like drugs an alcohol, but no, Daphne has complete control over herself. They are normal people who just have normal everyday problems, and Daphne finds it stupid that certain people judge underground rap, and see it as a bad thing, even though it isn't, and she is trying to prove that and make history with their peformances, and getting their songs in the radio. This woman is able to be a part of underground rap, dance, be a radio host, and keep her grades good. It's impressive, but also really tough for her. You could kind of say that she's trying to prove her family wrong, that she can do all of these things at the same time and achieve something big, and be happy with what she does. Also she tends to do something just to piss them off. If there is a new thing she can try, and she knows they won't be happy about it, she will highly likely do it just for that.





Rapping and dancing history: Daphne started rapping at a really young age, but it wasn't like she knew how to do it right off the bat. That would be unrealistic. Everyone started somewhere, and that was at the bottom, which she did as well when she was very young, and learning how to rap was the first thing she started doing. She had listened to other people rapping several times before, and she found it fascinating how people could express such deep feelings in such a short ammount of time, with how fast they could utter them from their mouths, and knew just how to control their breathing so they could do just that. This was mostly her motivation to keep going, even when it became difficult, because sometimes it almost seemed impossible to her. After all, she was only a kid, but she was determined to learn this, and with this determination, she was able to. About a few months after she had begun to learn rapping, she began learning how to dance as well. You could kind of say she already had a vision of what she wanted to do, but it wasn't completely clear to her in that moment, she just did what she figured out that she loved, and she never let anyone stop her. She even made small peformances for her big sister sometimes, who were very excited about her new skills in both, and she only got better the longer she did both things. While dancing she learned that prescence was really important, actually the most important thing. Almost everyone could learn difficult moves, but putting true feeling into it, and making it fun or sexy, or whatever kind of feeling it was supposed to give, could be a struggle. And if that wasn't there, then no one would want to watch, because they wouldn't feel that. So Daphne fought hard to get that as well, to not just learn the moves, but also have a strong prescence while doing it. Though her teacher told her that there was no need for her to practice it too much, because she already had it. Her passion could be felt far away, and her teacher was impressed with her ability. Another thing that was difficult to learn, was rapping while dancing. When dancing you automatically lose your breath, and that was something which Daphne struggled with as well, though again, she was determined to learn and perfect it, but still make it her own. Unfortunatly her parents weren't very fond of her freetime activities, which had turned into a huge passion of her's, but they thought all that time, that it was just something she made her time pass with, that it wasn't something she was actually really into, and wanted to continue doing through many more years out on her future. Her parents being dissatisfied with it and wanting her to stop, they told her so, and kept giving her reasons why she should stop. That was when Daphne got into a destructive fase, where she ripped herself off of everything that made her happy just to please them, trying to make them happy and show her love, and so she stopped. Her teachers didn't understand why, and when they asked and tried to get further into the case, her parents were quick to stop them. They were always very private and didn't wish for anyone to snoop in their private affairs, especially not their daughers', so the rap- and dance teacher could do nothing, and just had to accept how things were. Though without Daphne knew anything about it, they were silently waiting for her to come back, hoping that she would find her way back to them. Luckily she did come to her senses, but it was first after she realised that she had gotten an eating disorder, and therefore needed to fight her way back to becoming herself again, and it took a while, because she had to get through the whole process of getting better and get her natural weight back, plus realising what kind of people her parents actually were, and after that, there was no way back. She knew who she was, and what she wanted to do with her life, and so she persued that. It became an even bigger challenge when she, of course, had to get back into rehearsing her dancing and rapping, fight her way back to what she was before, and get even higher than that, but level of difficulty had never stopped her from doing what she loved before, and it wasn't going to stop her now either. It was by the power of will that she got on track again, and after she began on the university, she met new friends who all had similar dreams and experiences as herself, and so she wasn't so alone anymore. She could not only share her grief, but also her passion with them, and together they created a small underground group. Through teamwork they made their own songs and worked really hard on choreographies, and it was finally up for discussion if they should try and peform what they had made. Daphne was nervous in the beginning, and wasn't sure if they could go through with it, because it was a big thing to do after all, especially since everything else there had been done had only been between them, but her friends gave her the courage to say yes, and then it was on. As soon as she stepped onto the stage that very first time, she knew that this was where she belonged. She was in her element, and gave it her all, also in the next peformance after that, and the next, and the next. For every time they had a peformance, they experienced more people coming to see them, and it made them so happy, including Daphne. She didn't do it for money or fame, she just wanted to live, and up on that stage, rapping and dancing, she felt most alive. In every peformance she showed much charisma and got the crowd going. She could make them smile with her, as well as sing along and laugh, and even utter excited "oooohh's", often when her choreography was more sexual and intense. Of course the choreo could not be big and difficult every time, it depended on what she did and how, and if she was rapping a lot, she would not dance as much, and then sometimes there would be more dance-based peformances. This way she could explore and enjoy both. Her flow when rapping was just as good as her flow when dancing. The group knew how to work together and make good and meaningful songs with deep lyrics, and some of them represented some of the struggles that the members had had individually through their lives. After seeing Daphne on stage, many describe her as fierce, talented, and sexy as hell. She's simply a natural peformer, born to be on a stage, and makes it look so easy, which to her, it is. That is one of the reasons why she smiles when peforming, because it's easy for her to do, and she loves it. And yes, street dance and hiphop are her favorites and is what she is known for, it fits the best with the underground group she has created with her friends, but that dosen't mean that is the only types of dancing she can do. She can actually do couple dancing, she just dosen't show it much, because as just mentioned, it dosen't really fit with what she's usually doing with her group, but sometimes, only sometimes, she let it show. To put it in a more precise matter, Daphne is someone who are capable of being both powerful and badass, as well as sexy and smooth. And there's no stopping her from learning new types of dances, as well as improving her rapping. It is something she lives for and is very passionate about, which means she will fight like hell to keep it with her forever, and that shows. She's captivating on a stage, both in one way and another, but she's not doing it because she likes being looked at or getting attention, no, she does it because she loves it, and is passionate about as just mentioned. There's no doubt in the fact that Daphne has a very bright future ahead of her if she continues to do what she is doing now: Working hard and doing what she loves and wants to do. It's something that keeps her going, and fulfills her. Oh, and she also loves a challenge, and dosen't mind taking one. At all. People who have never seen her on stage before often wonder who she is, because she has such a stage prescence that no one can deny it. She has a fierce and badass arura while at the same time being able to switch this cute and sweet aura, and then to the more sexy aura. There's a mysterious-ness to her that makes people interested in her and so they want to know more about her, much more. She's popular, but there is also a reason why she is. And she couldn't care less about anyone who makes bad rumours about her, because they do not know her at all, and anyone who actually take their time to see her peformances and get to know her, will know for sure.

- One thing to know about Daphne, is that she very often touches her hair. Why, that is unknown, but she does.


- Another fun fact is that she never puts up her hair. It's always hainging down beautifully over her shoulders, just the way she likes it. She can use hair accessories and sometimes caps, but that's about it.
