History
Andres was definitely an unexpected pregnancy, born in the wealthy, hard working family of the Martinez's. His parents were often working late at their offices, flying out for business, or burying their noses into laptops as they sat on the couch at home. It was very early in his life that Andres was handed off to a full-time nanny, who took it upon herself to submerge him into the authentic Puerto Rico culture, from the lowest class to the highest. She equipped him with the necessary means of his adult life, so when he was old enough to fend for himself, she left him with an open heart and mind, manners and etiquette, determination and the ability to chase whatever goal he set for himself. While in high school, Andres pulled almost perfect marks while dabbling in sports and clubs. Fortunately for the ambitious boy, he was born into a life where he never had to struggle. Being popular in school, book smart, and athletic in sports, he never had to worry about much. When Andres turned eighteen, he left Puerto Rico to attend college at Yale University in Connecticut, where he majored in business for four years. His father had asked him to move back to Puerto Rico where he would be contracted 50% of the successful family business but Andres had fallen in love with America too much to have to leave it so soon. Having talked to his father, multiple inventors, and weighing in ideas during dozens of meetings, the legal and PR teams decided to expand the business into America. After some delicate planning he was the proud owner and CEO of his father's company, just relocated to the heart of New York City, where he resides now.
Present
Andres works a fairly normal Monday-Friday, 9-5 job on most days, only staying late and revolving his entire life around work when its absolutely necessary. Being only 22 years old, he attempts to spend his free time like any normal young adult, whether it be at the beach, at a club, or shopping around the streets off Manhattan with his close friends. At least once every couple of months the city becomes suffocating to Andres, but that's when he plans business trips to get out of city and into his own culture or others very similar. He live in a small but aesthetically pleasing apartment with a view of the Hudson River and only travels by Uber or on foot.
Personality
Cool headed, open minded, and successful, Andres is not your average young adult. His success came from his business and it had only flourished due to his ambition and pride for the family values his father had worked so hard to incorporate. He fought hard enough to turn it into what it was and he was proud. Maybe a little too much at times. Andres always attempted to remain down to earth but an arrogant side of him would occasionally peek out, showing its true form. While he's not one to show off or brag about his money, he's also not one to hide it, either. Often traveling around the world, he indulges in foreign and familiar cultures and history. The young man has a passion for adventure and prefers to be out in the wilderness, usually high enough elevations to catch breathtaking views. Whether he's alone or not, it doesn't matter, although he wishes to meet a fellow explorer that could tag along for the long flights and hikes on rugged terrain.
