The Girl & The MC
'What does it mean to be family?' Being part of a family who's dedication lies with a large-scale MC, there's never been a stronger band than that. The brotherhood and the family that surrounds it may have it's issues, but loyalty is what keeps it together. Growing up in Nevada, Dililah had a broken home, so-to-speak. An alcoholic and abusive father, a stubborn and naive brother who made excuses for him, and a mother who ran to try and get away from the MC... And even with that, there's no stronger bond than two siblings who grew up on the same virtues of family. However, there are differences in the way the two siblings saw their father. A much deeper scar than Lilah would ever admit, there was more severe of abuse she sustained that left her feeling more hatred for their father than she did, love. And those are the things she vowed never to tell her brother how much worse her punishments were. While she wanted to, she couldn't tear him down by telling him just how different it was between the two of them. It would only cause a rift and likely end badly for all parties involved. So she keeps quiet and keeps that locked away in her mental box of bad memories.
There was a time where she wanted to branch off and do her own thing. When she turned twenty-years of age, she moved away and began doing online classes. But her move only lasted a month before she ended up coming back to be with her brother. Dililah blames the MC for a lot of mishaps that happen in the family and she blames it for the reason their mother left and the family being at odds most of the time. But this life she's grown into, the rest of the men, aside from her father, make her feel safe and never harm her. They don't judge her or make her feel uncomfortable. And it's that blanket of safety that she can't seem to detach herself from. When she tries, she begins to panic, feeling alone. Not that her brother lets he leave for long, anyhow.
Dililah took up the study of law. After 6 long years of studying, she got her law degree and has since, been trying to branch out and find a job as a lawyer. But being the sister of an outlaw gang makes that very difficult. However, she can practice all she wants when it comes to helping those she calls family. And even if she hates the aspect of the club, those who are left in it are those she will always love and protect. Her desire to practice law was often ridiculed by her father, causing a lot more friction between them. But she never backed down and always fought back, advising him that it's in the club's best interest that they have a lawyer on their side to keep them out of jail or in the very least, give them aid in figuring out loopholes to things.
After a tragic brawl between the MC and some rivals, their father fell victim, along with several members of the MC. Her sorrow and heart went out to those other members, but her hatred for her father kept her from feeling too sorrowful over her father's death. She never said anything to her brother, however. She aided in his sorrow to the best of her ability, but she didn't shed a tear for the man that she called, 'Dad'. To this day, she does what she can for those she cares for. Dililah's loyalty will remain with her family and that will never change. -
