• Occupation in Detail

  Kylanthia's primary occupation is first and foremost selling what she makes. Jewelry, for the most part, often enchanted of infused with particular effects to benefit the wearer. Though be warned, for each piece is also often enchanted to trap any would be thieves picking them up, or perhaps she is in a fickle mood and simply leaves the trap in place when selling it.
  
  She also makes more particular, specialist pieces that in truth have no place in the public eye. These more intimate pieces are not openly sold, but are sought after and highly priced.
  
  In her love for all that glitters and shines, for the right price and the right customer she's willing to indulge in more focused and intense sessions in the bedroom. While not openly a courtesan of any sought in truth, there's always a right price.

• Personality

  Kylanthia loves gold, jewels, silks. All manner of rich, lavish things. It's affected her life for as long as she can remember, the driven greed behind her will. She cares not for power, control, trophies or the such, just elevating herself to living such a life that could be deemed as beyond excessive. Willing to collect anything, and anyone, that can help achieve such a life.
  
  No doubt she comes across as cold when first met, snobbish and prone to sneering or early judgement of those she will deem immediately below her. She doesn't want to speak to those without the will to challenge such an attitude, nor those she doesn't see the opportunity to improve upon either them or herself.

• A Short History

  Kylanthia hails from Ishgard, the cold city of a somewhat devisive nature. From all the politics, class divides and general misery she has somehow made head way in such a society that would have seen her long dead in a gutter. Yes, she is not from the upper classes. For all her pomp and snobbery she is in fact from the very lowest tiers of society in Ishgard, not that she would be willing to discuss such history with many.
  
  She started making her fortune from the bottom up, stealing more precious metals an stones, making them in the alleys before selling them on. Forever pushing forward, forever hoarding money where she can. Not stopping nor set back when such hoards were stolen, taken or extorted from her. Forever on an upwards her will pushed her from being a gutter crawler to a stall holder. But Ishgard has it's limits, there's only so far she can fight an established system for her own place.
  
  This elf then turned away from the City, there are greater opportunities elsewhere in Eorzea and beyond. Ul'dah then seems the natural next stop, a city of merchants and opportunity. From here she made a connection with the Whispered Wish, a high class establishment requires high class decorations for it's staff. It also helps her set up a home point, a place to retreat from the outside world of rough beggars, volatile merchants and brutish customers.
