♢ He is like me. Broken and missing, un-whole. Void. I thought I was unique. But his is a different story. His was violent, deliberate, ripped--or wasn't mine, too? I cannot recall. I was too young... He is unstable, I can sense it, how he falls apart. I am unstable too. There is a difference in how I manifest. His is volatile, accelerated. Mine has been long, slow, painful, simply... coming unthreaded. Perhaps we will die at the same time. Little voidling.

♢ She quietly pushes boundaries with me. Touching, and taking, and invading my privacy. I do not know what being a 'Keeper' entails. She means well, and brings me tea, and bit by bit I enjoy her company... I think she has learned my ways. My habits. She has a need to talk, but her company can be soothing.

♢ A stubborn, bullish man. He found me at my lowest. And decided the best course of action was to rob my still-warm corpse. It is a stalwart companionship borne of necessity. He keeps poor habits--although truly, are mine any better--violent and loud. I am unsure why he hasn't left me while I slept. I have seen changes in him. Growth? We have seen many adventures. But I know he sees me, how the rot creeps across my skin.

♢ I do not see her nearly as often as her other half. She is good company and good tea, and terrifying to witness in a fight. Graceful and deadly. We only fought in sync once. It was an experience. I see what Aldo sees in her. Or something of it, I suppose. Emotion and attraction is difficult to process.
