♢ They are a competent doctor--as their title may imply. Anything from simple first aid to complex surgeries--life threatening or elective. Pricing is based on severity, however, their interests lie more in... Favours traded.
♢ The physician will agree to accompanying a group of mercenaries or adventurers on a mission to provide on-sight support in the event of an injury. This also includes sitting ring-side of the arena, to watch over a prized gladiator. They are competent enough in defending themself with a sword, but keeping your healer alive, keeps your team alive. |

♢ Bloodmead Potently sweet mead using blood (of what origin they will not say), preserved by alcohol from fermented honey. Tastes of copper, sickly sweet cane, and a bitter finish from a plant venom used to preserve the blood and prevent it from coagulating into a sludge. Palatable to undead, deadly to humans, and varying levels of consumable for everyone else. Without their own distribution centre, it is sold only by the barrel. Cloudy brown in colour. ♢ Bloodletting Tincture Made by carefully diluting "snake" (allegedly) venom to (mostly) nonlethal levels. Used to treat blood clots, in the brain, the heart, or major arteries. Easily deadly if used incorrectly. ♢ Blood Coagulate A mineral and biological calcine. Thickens the blood, to be used VERY sparingly in those that have trouble clotting. Often thickened into a paste to use on bandages, it can stem bleeding. ♢ Wolfsbane Dilute Diluted to less than a thousandth, it's meant to be mixed with drugs, analgesics, or anaesthetics. It counteracts the high tolerance of therianthropes by weakening their natural healing factor, making the drugs more effective. The dose is very particular, and if not perfectly measured can knock a lycan on their ass. ♢ Fungal Decay An agent that kickstarts decay in biological matter, plant or flesh. Useful for accelerating composts, or other less savory uses. ♢ Henna A thick brown paste that requires quick use before it dries out. Used for mehndi, it dyes the skin red to brown depending on how long it is applied, and can also be similarly used to dye fur and hair. If the doctor likes you enough, they may even take commissions on designs. ♢ Theriac AKA Venice Treacle, an electuary, salve or inhalant; the doctor rarely gives their exact formulation out, but some can discern the scents of cinnamon, myrrh, turpentine, nutmeg, and sweet honey. At the very least. |

♢ The physician is able to identify a wide range of substances, creatures, flora from their studies. Poisons, fluids, unknown tinctures... Through a blend of science and magical intuition, they can likely give you your answer, and even formulate an antidote.
And rest assured, their method of testing does involve something more involved than licking or snorting every substance they come across. Although they will do that too. |
♢ The physician does their own collecting and harvesting, when they find the time. They will take requests for reagents, if they are confident they can obtain it, either themself or through one of their connections.
♢ Herbs, fungi, offal, available dried, preserved, pickled or cured. |

♢ The physician likes to keep their hands busy. On top of being a more than competent surgeon, capable of very minute, fine-detail work, they further hone their dexterity by (among other things) whittling. This often takes the form of small carvings of figures, but more often they make pipes, which they sell alongside their own unique smoking blends

Tobacco being the most prominent, they largely mix these with other herbs--either for their aroma, the weight of their smoke, or analgesic or psychedelic effects.
♢ Aparajita: A bright blue flower that makes for a pleasant, light smoke. Touted to do everything from cure respitory infections to improving memory, and is considered both an aphrodisiac and an antiaphrodisiac. Also called koyala, shankhpushpi, or butterfly pea.
♢ Brightleaf tobacco: A lighter strain of tobacco; the Vaidya is not a fan of heavy smoke. ♢ Vijaya: Cannabis. ♢ Clove: Normally ground clove and clove oil is added to a leaf base. Tobacco or other. ♢ Salvia: Or sage, a particularly light and pleasant smoke. ♢ Water lily: Very mellowing and psychoactive. |
