    Misutou, born a snake, is the apprentice of an evil serpent named Najimi. He has vowed his life to protect Najimi at all costs, ALL costs. He finds a gem that he keeps on his belt, the gem turns him into a human. Najimi tells him to become a human and attend a high school to find information on humans and to find weaknesses, but, when Misutou becomes a human he develops feelings for a girl, Izaya.
